Finally Found a Tank I Hate Almost as Much as the Comet...And It
's Also British

It's the Tier 7 TD Challenger. Other than a turret and decent
mobility, this thing has NOTHING going for it. Crappy pen,
abysmal alpha damage, and it's the size of a house so it has a
camo rating of 0.0. If you took the Fury and put a gigantic
bulbous head on top of it, that would be the Challenger. The
poor alpha and lack of camo makes pop and shoot tactics
pointless and about as much fun as a colonoscopy without an
anesthetic.
Being a type A personality, it is very difficult for me not to
finish grinding a tank once I start it, however I just couldn't
do it with this hideous thing. It is the first tank I've ever
quit on and sold before finishing (I used about 80,000 free XP
to rid myself of the abomination that is the Comet).
There is a silver lining: after selling the thing, I decided to
finish the 110E3 tree since I had previously gone down the E4
variant. I bought the Jackson and I'm really enjoying that
tank. I'm sure I'll miss the turret once I get to the 25AT and
beyond, but so far I'm liking the grind.

The Cromwell-based TD is absolutely fantastic! It is super crazy
fast with an accurate gun to pop and stop the enemy. It is a
great tank to shoot, reposition, shoot, reposition, again and
again. It is a light tank with a great gun and super
maneuverable.
I love it!

Once that Challenger is fully upgraded it is a dangerous tank.
Quick, deadly, perfect for sniping at the start of a game then
attacking in the end game. Just takes getting use to it's boxy
look.

Once you get the Charioteer it makes up for it,its fast with a
tier 10 gun

Sloooooowly acquiring the XP to elite the Firefly, then will
start up this line after I finish the UK Heavy and Medium lines.
I do like the mobility factor for these platforms...I am mostly
a "sit back and snipe" TD player, so this will combine that and
my like for fast/high RoF mediums into one package tank

Ditto what bandit said. I quit on this tank and sold it for
space due to lack of use. Bought it back a couple months ago
after taking time off from WoT and loved it once upgraded. Yes
it takes small nibbles of the enemy but mobility mobility
mobility (& ROF). Move around and be annoying, flank flank
flank. :thumb:
