       That looks great.
Unfortunately, we don't have vertical roads and horizontal trees
over here, just the vanilla kind. Jealous.
I used to do a regular drive through the Scottish borders to
Edinburgh via Jedburgh along the A68 and that was one I always
       looked forward to.
       Hope this link works.

When my mom and dad lived in Floral City, FL I had to come up
Hwy48 this was the scene I enjoyed most on that trip..... :pop:

My drive to work sucks until I get close. I work at Lake Barkley
State Resort. The last five mils of a 45.5 mile drive are in the
state park itself. and ends with a view like
       this

And yes the pool is full of bikinis by 10am

How about this for a trip home... what you see is our 747 racing
into Phoenix Sky Harbor as a Haboob is heading directly for us

       Greyza, you live in Scotland?
My Mother in law is Scottish.
Mrs Koldfront Kraig and I try to get over and visit her family
every 2 -3 years. They live in Dalmelington. About a half hour
       inland from Ayr.
I love hiking the hills. Great views.
This is looking down on Loch Doon:

       Kraig,
No, I live near Sheffield in South Yorkshire.
I used to do that drive through the Scottish Borders when I was
a service engineer and was going to a customer site in
       Edinburgh.
Heck of a long drive, especially on the odd times I did a
       there-and-back on the same day.
Could have done with more comfy car seats that day, I can tell
       you

       New Brunswick, Canada.
