Lol Oxi! Wasn't referring to you but the guy and folks in
general who push down their agendas. :hitself: so, I fully
understand the math associated with the hit pool percentages. I
think we are overlooking one very positive aspect of this
though! Have you given any consideration to what this means in
terms of the amount of available damage that could be garnered?
To use your example, the E75 could offer up to 2300 hit points!
       :snowball:
I would like to understand how stats are managed though.
Wouldn't it make sense that if you pulled the patch lever there
would be some sort of penalty involved and reduction to your
       tank's WN8 for that outing?
Just playing devil's advocate here really.
This is something that should definite never be allowed in comp
matches. If it is done right, not sure I care about the pub
matches. Again, more damage to garner.

I don't think that patches will necessarily be a bad thing for
the game. Looking at the prices of boosts I think that patches
will probably be very expensive in terms of gold for what is a
single use item. I don't have a problem with anyone spending
money on this game which likely will help with adding more
unique content, not more fecking reskins!
But I will support the clan if we are boycotting cause that's
       the way I roll.

We all have valid points but I'd like to add that if OFF decides
we should do the boycott I'll stand with my clan mates. Hell, I
can always take the wife on a little getaway that weekend
:puke: to Reno and gamble some money away.

Guys.. I have no problem with people playing or not playing,
especially since I took some executive privilege with assigning
       OFF.
       :deer:
I hear your comments and I guess my main issue is the seemingly
endless monitzation of the game. I took the liberty of lending
       the name as against it.
Where it could work is assign a 10-15% reduction in armor after
using the kit thereby increasing likelihood of pen and will
balance out the advantage to heavy tanks and top tiers

I feel that it does not overly impact the game FYI. The 20th is
a evaluation period to get feed back from the community "Patch
Kits will be awarded to players for free on login daily and are
only available during the weekend of June 30. When Monday comes
following that weekend, the Patch Kits will be removed. Once the
event ends please give us your thoughts. More information of
this event to come." Per WG. If I boycott how can I give a
honest evaluation and opinion of whether I like this change or
not. As of now I am taking the word of the super testers that I
will hate this change to the game. What if I actually like raw
tomatoes? If I am to make a informed decision I will need to
play on the weekend of the 20th. I feel that a better use of
clan unity is to point out the areas of concern have the clan
member play and make a informed decision, if it is concluded
that the changes are not wanted direct clan member to a petition
stating that the proposed changes are not wanted. Non clan
members could also be direct to a petition to give added
validity to it by increasing the number of people signing. I
feel that if all the clans and their members bring an argument
of we took a real and objective look and we don't like it and
then join together to oppose the change it would be a stronger
statement than we are just pissed off individuals and refuse to
even try it. Just my :twocents:

I agree with slacker...if time & schedule permits, I'd like to
try it for myself before saying 'yay' or 'nay'.
Maybe next time we should put it up for a vote as to our public
stance on an issue such as this.
So, on the 20th, schedule permitting, I'll see what it's all
       about.

I'd like to see WG put their energy to something that stays
within the spirit of the game that we all started playing. The
spirit of the game is that it's not a First Person Shooter.
From my vantage point, they are just looking to make the game
more attractive to younger gamers that didn't grow up with "one
and done" games such as defender, pac man and space invaders.
Exercising caution while playing is what this game is all about.
How many times have we encouraged smart play, HP management and
taking controlled damage versus YOLO play? These packs can
drastically change the way that this game is played and could
really impact the last few minutes of tight games.
Say goodbye to the really close games if these become part of
the everyday game. There are a lot of people out there with
nothing better to do than spend a lot of money on anything that
will give them an advantage and while these won't do much at
tier 3, they will do a lot at tiers 8, 9 and 10. Happy grinding
and hitting your ops with those in the game...lol.
       We've been WG's bread and butter for years. I don't think it's
asking too much to continue improving the game while keeping the
       spirit intact. :headbang:
