If this isnt fixed by Saturday, then this could really affect
tanks and crews for the WCL playoffs. THese guys are going to
need to pay gold to switch the crews back to their comp tanks.
I would have had to do it for my E50......
So far I have about 10 crews that are screwed, including my
favorite tanks T29, Cromwell, Comet, E50, 50 100.....

My T-Rex crew was already in my T-49 when I did the update, got
lucky there. I've not tried transferring them back to the T-Rex
yet. My Lowe crew though was in the Lowe and now they want me
to pay, again, to move them into the VK 30. I'm not paying so I
just used a free recruit crew in the VK and the tank went from
impressive with the Lowe crew to suckville without it.
Note: The greens may have a little to do with that :child:

I am not a programmer (far from it - more like gorilla bashing a
keyboard with a rock), but how the flying F did they screw this
up, and then be unable to sort it out quickly??!?!?
It worked for years and then :grenade:

Here is the latest from Pain on the issue

I apologize to those of you affected by this issue. We're
working hard to get it fixed but its a pretty complicated one.
Here's the latest status on things:
Investigate and fix bug that caused that issue - done (tues)
Deploy fix to the Live game so any new players logging in are
not affected - done (tues)
Generate list of all players that logged in on Tuesday while the
bug was happening - done
Restore back up of all player data for all consoles from before
the version update - done
Query for all players from step 3 that had crews not in their
"home tank" during the hours the bug existed - in progress
Generate list of players and all associated crews affected by
the bug - to do
Determine method of patch or database manipulation for all
affected accounts - to do
Deploy fix from step 7 and generate list of all players that
transferred an affected crew back to the home tank - to do
Determine method of compensation - to do
I don't have an ETA yet on how long it will take to get through
step 9, honestly it could be a few more days. if you really
want to transfer back a crew right now, you should be safe to do
so as it will be caught by the above steps. I'll keep you
posted as we learn from each step.

I am with you Rugger - what compensation particularly to those
that transferred crews and paid gold to get them back into their
original tank. I have a number of crews stuck in Premium tanks
that I won't move. This prevents me from using some tanks
(Fatherland back to IS-3 is one).

Hereally is the latest. They will be buying us off. I may just
bank the gold and use the silvers for many of the crews.
UPDATE: 3/16/2017 6:10PM CENTRAL TIME
Hello tankers,
First, we would like to apologize to all players affected by the
tank crew bug issue that was introduced in Update 3.6.
We updated the Tank Crew Bug forum post with some information as
to where we are in the fixing stages (information here).
Since a database fix would take longer than we would like, we
are going to give each affected player the gold for the transfer
for each affected crew as well as 2 days of premium.
We will be pulling the data of all affected users and it process
it tomorrow
