       Sounds to me that there are going to be some very unsatisfied
       arty players out there.  Wondering what prompted WG to make this
       change.

       I am very torn...... I fraking hate arty....... but since it has
       been rumored that I am playing it (vicious lies!), this is
       interesting....
       Brief run down for those that don't want to watch the video
       (copied from the forum post).
       -Arty penetration greatly reduced to make shells almost never
       penetrate
       -Arty damage essentially halved
       -Arty splash radius greatly increased
       -Arty now has a "Stun" mechanic that will guarantee a 10 second
       stun on vehicles hit. Stun can be increased to 30 seconds
       depending on the damage dealt to the vehicle.
       -The Stun mechanics degrades the vehicles efficiency, it does
       not prevent you from moving
       -Arty will get exp and silver for damage dealt to stunned
       targets.
       -Repair kits, Med kits, and Fire extinguishers are now reusable
       and have a 60 second cooldown between uses.
       -Med kits will end the stun effect instantly
       -Arty can now tell their team the EXACT spot they are sighting
       -Arty horizontal sight added to the game (instead of a mod)
       -Arty Armor Penetrating shells removed. They now fire HE ONLY

       Huh. I really like those changes, even if I think splash should
       be reduced, if anything, and accuracy buffed a touch to
       compensate. And as someone who got tagged by an arty AP shell
       from a T92 the other night, yes, please, get rid of that shit.

       LOVE the idea of repair kits, etc., being reusable with a
       cool-down period, as well as the stun feature.
       Gotta give them credit for at least trying to do something, even
       if it might be a year before we see any actual changes.

       what they need to do with arty is bring the arty back from beta
       where they could put the shell in a comanders hatch 49 out of 50
       times  :arty:

       I agree Major, people on the WOT forums complain and demand that
       it be taken out of the game all the time.  To me, I hate getting
       hit by it but in the end it's my fault when I do and I should
       have taken more precaution against it.

       WTF?! Halved damage? You play those stupid things and half the
       time get a completely crap map for arty and then can't get a
       teammate to actually effing track the opfor so most of the time
       you're trying to lead a target 300-600 meters away or more with
       a 2 second air time before the shell lands right where it should
       50% of the time and so once you actually connect all the dots
       you're only going to get 50% damage? Not to mention taking into
       account the incline/decline of the ground the target is
       occupying. F- Dat Chit! Just effing take them out of the damn
       game then.
