I think that if you are using the D-pad Cruise Control
configuration, the handbrake does not work. I've tried several
times and read somewhere that you only have to downclick the
left stick, but it doesn't seem to work. So I have switched back
to the default and all is good. Still got a major bitching about
the Rhm.Borsig Waffentragers view range nerf though. Almost
every tier VIII vehicle now has more view range than it does.
You wouldn't think 40 m. would make that much of a difference
but my experience seems to suggest that it does. I set-up,
hardly pickup anything up and most of the time "I get" detected
before I detect them. So back off, take damage and go in the red
at the end of match. About ready to go back to the Jagdtiger, at
least its got some armor.

If your looking for the best handbrake configuration it is
"Handbreak", yes you will need to relearn a few buttons such as
ammo switch and communications, but the rest is more or less the
same.
I now use handbrake frequently to run and slid around corners,
or rocks and to setup for better scrapes.
Any of the configurations with the handbrake on the D pad,
simply doesn't work unless you only goad is to leave drive
locked and use handbrake to stop shoot and move, which is not
bad, but does not take full advantage of what it can be used
for.

I also switched to the "Handbrake" config on my controller, the
D-Pad one was not user friendly IMO. Now when running fast
tanks I find myself using it as James says, tight corners and
quick turns to get cover.

And just a heads up: If you find yourself on Hidden Village
North spawn, and decide to run the west road to the rock pile in
G4 and use it for cover, you may want to stop before you get to
the rocks. Prior to the update you could hit the rocks and then
shoot-backup-pull forward-shoot again, last night I found out my
tank could go over the rocks....imagine my surprise as I got
shot to shit trying to get out of there :grenade:

LOL....I'm finding with the new physics that fast Lights are
hard to control. Lots of drifting, spinning tracks in mud, snow
and wet rocks.
Also have to get used to the rocking when stopping. It really
throws off the shot timing.
Should be awesome for the next Clan event using Pz III's.

Got stuck in a heavy tier five match with my Pz I C with two
friends on Himmelsdorf so all we did was race around the map
catching air, handbraking like crazy and flipping each other
over! Was one of the funnest matches I've been in ever!

I posted a video of my Bert doing a Victory Roll on the console
OFF Club. I have successfully rolled my Hellcat and the Bert -
surviving both in winning matches.
