Tips for Players with Klingon Toons that Want to Contribute to O

I apologize if everyone already knows this as I just figured it
out the other day: even though Klingon toons can't contribute to
a federation fleet :lightsaber: you can deposit materials and
energy credits from your Klingon toon into your account bank.
Then switch to one of your federation toons and withdraw said
materials/credits to use on the OFF base. It's a little bit of
a pain for materials because there is only one slot in the
account bank (I'm assuming you can buy more with Zen - haven't
looked), but it's definitely worth it if you're not in a Klingon
fleet and your materials are just sitting in your inventory
doing nothing.

Thats good to know, I've been playing my Klingon toons pretty
exclusively, especially since my Federation toons are all messed
up! However, I just fixed one of them today and now I can't
access the Fleet Base! What's going on here?

I think Klingons can't visit a Fed base and that includes our
own (Since it is Fed after all)

Yep. Unless your character is Federation or Allied with the
Feds, you can't access the Starbase. So if you are playing a
Klingon alt, it can't come in.

Yep. Unless your character is Federation or Allied with the

I know the Klingons can't come in, but I fixed one of my 4
Federation toons, and I can't access the Fleet Base. For all
intents and purposes, it's like being kicked out of the Fleet!
Did I get kicked out?

I also noticed the klingon equipment issue. I know that when
your at the last episodes everyone appears to be part of the
federation, maybe what Shard mentioned may work then. I don't
have a klingon to try it, otherwise you need to buy more bank or
sell the stuff. I don't know if everyone has figured this out.
Any ship you pay for with zen can be used on any toon you start
provited the faction is the same and rank requirements are met.
My next thing. I have completed all the episodes with one toon
and can't figure out what's next other then going from system to
system trying to find stuff to destroy. I still do the pve thing
and work the bridge officers for space station stuff. Is there
life after episodes are completed? I have three other toons I
play, but not as much fun when you kind of know whats next.

After tou finish the story tgread you can join Omega task force
and work your way through that storyline. The main issue with
this game, as with all MMOs (except Star Wars Galaxies), is that
once you are finished levelling up, what to do? Raids, crafting
equipment to get more cash, PVP is pretty much left. That's the
problem with closed supossed sandbox games. That's why I loved
Galaxies you could go anywhere, do anything. The options on what
you wanted to do in the world was up to you.
There might be something like this that the STO community has
cooked up, but I haven't investigating that side. Just been
working on building our Starbase.

Joe, is the Omega "storyline" different from the Omega marks you
can get from doing reputation missions? If so, where do you
start it - Deep Space 9?

I screwed up starting out and filled in every slot on all my
skill lists on all four toons, not realizing that they were
contradictory in many respects. Thus, I had four toons listed as
admirals but their skill rating was that of a captain or lieut.
commander and would not go any higher. So I got a retrain token
and fixed one toon, but I still need three more tokens to fix
the other three toons. Somehow when I fixed the one, I got
kicked out of the fleet. I can no longer access the fleetbase or
fleet holdings with toon "Jon", and I'm not playing the other 3
toons anymore until I can get 3 more retrain tokens and "fix"
them also.
Thus, I need another invite to get toon "Jon" back into the
fleet.
