Complete New Visual Changes to the Game Just Happened

Instead of the great realistic visuals that have gradually been
improving with each update, WG have completely changed them to
be cell shaded and more like a comic book. Seems to me
everything looks darker and less sharp. Not sure yet if you like
it, what you you think?

This was announced on the WG forums that they would be going to
comic book graphics to celebrate the next edition of their
comic book. After the event is over, the graphics will revert
back to normal.

Thats good news then, I can just put up with it for a week. Kind

The same reason we still have a 275 pen HESH Death Star and six
shot Waffle -- the console team doesn't listen to their players
and has no idea how to balance or fix key gameplay issues.
PC side gets balance changes every update. When was the last
time we had anything more than throw away game modes or
reskinned tech tree "premiums"?

I think its just to shake things up once in awhile. It will
revert back shortly after the ops & events. I only played 1
match this morning before work, and it was sand river, which
kind of looked alright with the comic book look. :hiding:

WG!!
WG is one of the most forward thinking, caring, responsive, and
dare i say - loving, companies in the WORLD!! Accept their well
thought out game play implementations and stop trying to second
guess a management team of superior intellect who love and
coddle their player base like no other game.
Further, some amoral "people" have alluded that whatever the
benevolent WG console team does is a method to increase profits.
The game is profitable without resorting to transparent and near
fraudulent attempts to extort more money from their player base,
and anyone who thinks differently is a big poo poo head!!
