BF1 Thoughts

What's the take on this game from those who have it?
Is the single player campaign any good?
Is the multiplayer playable without the DLC I've been seeing? I
don't need another game that's gonna nickel and dime me to
death.
I'm trying to decide if I want to spend the MS $$ I got for
Christmas on a digital DLL since it can be had for under $40
through the xbox store.
Thanks.

I haven't played BF1, but I played the hell out of Titanfall 2.
Great campaign with a great story, lot of fun to play.
Multiplayer was good too - I stuck to the modes with bots mixed
in with players tho so I always felt like I was doing OK lol

LoL, thanks MG. I really wanted the first one when it came out
along with WOT but since Titanfall delayed release on the 360 I
was already neck deep into WOT so Titanfall never got purchased.
Too bad so sad for doing a dual release and screwing 360
owners.... I hadn't really considered the new one as a result
but maybe I'll put that back on my wishlist. :thumb:

I enjoy BF1. The campaign is decent and pvp is good too. With
infantry, cavalry, armor and aircraft there are plenty of ways
to play the battles.

I need more time... I played a couple hours of the multi-player
and campaign. I really like it and hope to get more time into
it. As it stands now, whenever I get time to game I jump on
tanks.

all three of my sons play it... and these clowns are Not History
Majors
they like the action, the ability to hop in a tank, aeroplane,
zeppelin or even ride a horse
you can choose from different classes of soldier (medic, sniper,
assault etc.) as well as many
nationalities. the story mode is great I followed two of them
through a whole story and it was entertaining just to watch.
the sense of realism is amazing...the historical details are
great (some of those machine pistols can NOT have been beyond
design stage during the Great War...but we've all seen this
sorta thing already) :troll:

Thanks for the input. I was really wanting this one but don't
want to waste my $$. Unless WG wows me with something for New
Years (if I make it that long), then I believe I'll be throwing
down the $$ for BF1.

My son has been playing BF1 since it's release. He actually
was beta, and if you like FPS this is a great game. I cannot
play as the action makes me extremely nauseous :puke:

Its on sale for 3 more days. Squiggy said he's buying it, I'm
not sure if there's a more ringing endorsement .

It's a fun game, but prepare to die a lot in infantry mode until
you have played quite a bit. I'm not sure how folks snap shot
you so quickly with frequency. I am very good in the light tank,
however (most like the control scheme to WoT)! It's fun, but is
pretty intense and much more draining than WoT.
I have been taking a tank break and playing a lot of World of
Warships for the past three weeks or so. Very fun game, too!
