@Chuck - wasn't breakin' balls but i thought there might have
       been a specific battle i missed.....besides, i said "Middle
Eastern Campaigns" instead of "North Africa" :palm:
Likewise, i like Dale's plan - chronological correctness soothes
       my OCD! :celebrate: :thumb:

Rommel's Desert War: The life and death of the Afrika corp. Is a
pretty dry book. A ot of people wanted more personal info and
antics. But what it does do is give incredible play by play
telling of the Afrika campaign. Complete lists of what tank, and
how many on each side. As well as after action and casualty
results. I lent my copy out, and it never came back. From what I
remember, this would be a great road map for a lot of desert
battles. Don't remember reading of Panthers or tigers, in
reality Rommel started out with a lot of hastily armed trainers
ie... PZ I & II's. When he had PZ IV's AND fueln lookout!

If I remember correctly , the tiger first fought in the sand
...... and I believe tiger 131 was captured at Tunisia ( yep
       just checked ) .

Brad, no balls broken - I appreciate the correction. It was
Operation Brevity, not Battle of Brevity. As far as I can tell,
there is no physical place on Earth named "Brevity". I, too,
would enjoy the recreating of battles with the actual tanks.
John, I don't mind the dry stuff, as long as it's got battles,
TOEs, facts, and stuff, and that one sounds like a winner.
BadDad, not sure about #131, though lol

Baddad is absolutely right about Tiger 131. They believe the
round that struck the turret ring and jammed it was probably a
six pounder from a Matilda :scream:
Chuck, I ordered the book again today. Should have it around
February haha. Really good read. Each battle was basically a
chapter iirc. All the data as to how many of what was on what
side is present. Like I said, it is mostly dry analytical data.
Many people that expected some kind of personal info on Rommel
were disappointed; that said, I remember the introduction as
giving an amazing intro for Rommel.
Hope you stuck with Trailer Park Boys; epic show.

@Ken - Sure - why not? Let's do it right and cover all of the
scenarios we can. We have Thiepval map, and some others that we
       could use.
Only issue is most of the Tier Ones are post WWI vehicles, iirc.
So, would have to change history a bit to make that work......

It's close as we can get. No T22's though.

More i think about it, maybe we should just start with the
Battle of France scenarios and go from there? I dunno, up to the
masses, either way is cool by me....

That would be pretty awesome...... YOu will get a ton of people
       looking to get into that.
The PC version had a historical battles game mode:

  HTML http://worldoftanks.com/en/news/17/historical-battles-9-0/
They are doing something similar on the WoT Forum:
  HTML http://forum-console.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/tags/forums/Historical+Battles/
  HTML http://forum-console.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/tags/forums/Historical+Battles/
They may have some good info that we could use and modify.....
