SNS 12/17 - Battle of the Bulge!!! 10pm Eastern Training Room

THERE WILL NO FCUKING ARTY!!!!! The Generalissimo will wield the
"Kick Hammer" !
I'm adding/changing details as I research the events during the
actual battle.
Maps
1) Ardennes (Duh!)
2) Erlenberg Snowstorm/Blizzard (Battle of Elsenborn Ridge)
3) Ruinberg (Siege of Bastogne)
Battle conditions
Ardennes
- Once the clock countdown goes to zero, the Germans may
advance.
- Allies must remain still for 45 seconds once the game starts
to simulate surprise attack conditions. However, the allies may
return fire while being immobile. After the 45 seconds the
allies can move and shoot freely.
Erlenberg Snowstorm/Blizzard (Battle of Elsenborn Ridge)
- Battle as usual no waiting.
Ruinberg (Siege of Bastogne)
- At the end of the count down, the allies must move into the
town and entrench themselves.
- Germans must wait 45 seconds before moving.
- For those 45 seconds NO SHOOTING is allowed for either side.
- I may give the Germans a small advantage in the number of Tier
V tanks.
Tanks (This may change depending how many people turn up)
German
Tiger II - 1 (88mm gun only)
Tiger I/Hammer - 2
Panther, Panther/M10- 3
Stug, any Panzer IV - Filler till room is full
(If you don't have any of these then pick those tanks that
weren't there but were in general service at the time and
failing that, the experimental/existed only in blueprints,
prototypes etc.)
Allies
Firefly/Boilermaker or M36 Jackson - 4 (max of 2 each)
Fury/E8 - 4
Tier 5 Shermans/M4/Churchill I - Filler till room is full
(If you don't have any of these then pick those tanks that
weren't there but were in general service at the time and
failing that, the experimental/existed only in blueprints,
prototypes etc.)
Misc notes
- I will take charge of one side of the lobby (German) and I
will get Triumph Cowboy (Allies) to run the other.
- Each side of the lobby will be in it's own chat. Whichever
side I move you to,you will need to join that side's party chat
so please take note.
- I will assign players to the teams to ensure a good balance of
tanks and player abilities.
- If there is time, we may run this again but with the players
swapping sides.
I'm trying to keep this as authentic and as simple as possible.
So;
1) No Derp guns
2) No Arty cuz I want to keep the bitching factor down
3) No Tier VI (6) Germans

Pretty sure the Americans tested some Pershings and T-29's at
the Battle of the Bulge...... :sceptic: :troll:
