My group of gaming friends would get together for poker (texas
hold em) regularly. I quickly earned a reputation of winning the
hand on the last card, usually known as "the river" but also
called "5th Street". (It was really kinda a dig at me because
winning on the river isn't smart play, its all luck) That got
shortened to Fif Street... think Chappelle Show Law and Order
sketch where he just keeps pleading the Fifth. Currently most
of my friends just call me Fif. The 315 is my area code.

First and only online gaming experience has been WoT. I played
on my step-sons console for a week, then went out and got my
own. Setting up the GT Microsoft gave me something like
unicorn-pink-pony or some crazy shit like that. I wanted to
differentiate myself without being obvious that I was an old
fart, so my favorite all time band RUSH has many monikers that
would work. Necromancer, Cygnus X1, Rivendell..etc... I
decided on basing mine on 3rd song on the FLy by Night album..
BY-TOR and the Snowdog. :headbang:

Rush was my favorite band as well, though their newer offerings
did not appeal to me much. My Farewell to Kings and Permanent
Waves tapes both snapped due to over playing

Yep, from Presto to now I haven't been a big fan of. Previous to
that though I really like Rush a lot. Led Zeppelin is my all
time favorite though. Kinda funny when I would give younger
people my email address zoso4182@xxxx and they just kind of
stare at it. (182 was for Blink 182 who I liked a lot when I
came up with that tag)

The largest part of my time for the past several years has been
participating in a living history group called the SCA (Society
for Creative Anachronism). It's where I met my wife. Wearing
armor and fighting in full contact combat. On the list field I
am known as Ehrenfried Schertenleib and have earned the rank of
Sergeant in the Dragon Army of the Middle Kingdom.

Back in about 1996 I was playing single player games, and when I
fired up Falcon Gold and it asked for a name. At that moment on
the TV the scene in Lethal Weapon came on and the captain
screamed "YOU'RE A LOOSE CANNON".
Been using it ever since.
