Quick and easy fleet marks.
Go to Deferra and do the 4 hard Borg missions... needs 3 people
, but you can get 200 plus fleet marks for 30 min play.

Also Starbase Defense PVE Mission- 15 minutes can net you
initially 120 marks, then 54 - 60 per engagement that lasts
about eight minutes if done right.
Stay away from the escort the freighter mission. It can pay off,
but the entire team has to be moving constantly to cover the
freighters before they are destroyed.
We should have reached Level one in military in about six hours
- should unlock our shipyard.

Are there any suggested links for tutorials? What are 'toons'?
Edit: Ok...I don't know what the heck I am doing in battles, but
I was able to acquire around 150 fleet marks and contributed
them to projects that seem to be nearest completion. Did this
doing a couple of PVE events. Is there a suggested Romulan
premium ship that you would suggest I get that would help with
the Fleet Mark acquistion? I recall from an earlier thread that
premium ships don't come into play until a certain level. At
this early point what is the best strategy to take in
anticipation of December deals?

Corbantis,
I'm deaf as you know so a lot of games where hearing is an
issue, I can't play. What's everybody's take on this, will not
being able to hear be an issue? Just be honest with me guys, I
appreciate honesty. If I can, I will help.
Also, is this part of that Star Trek Online download freebie? I
don't have it but have seen it, and will download it if you guys
think its something I can do and help with.

embassy on new romulus from the officer of the watch daily
mission

admitted to the OFF fleet I was able to pick up missions on the
PVE menu and go to Fleet Holdings to apply them to OFF projects.

There are several guides on You tube on how to play STO. As far
as "premium" ships - the ones you buy do not increase your
earning of marks. The amount of marks you earn depend on
difficulty level of the PVE mission you take, and any boosts you
use (which can be acquired on our Starbase at one of the supply
vendors using fleet credits).
Your first PVE fleet mission in a 24 hour cycle will give you a
bonus box where you could earn up to 120 fleet marks. After
that, you get the standard number of marks per mission, which
seem to be locked at 54 (at least for me). I haven't set the PVE
mission queue past the single stripe, so I can get in, and get
through it as quicly as possible. Last night we did the "Defend
the Starbase" encounter start to finish in six minutes. Luckily
I was in a very good pug group.
Toons - That is the MMO generic name for your online characters.
