Delphi programmer here), hence my manual method. It's not a
chore anyway as it gives me something to do when having coffee

Yea.. I have a plan to import my stats nightly and do some
slicing/dicing to get a better representation. I KNOW I am
getting better... I just want some quantitative proof on a week
by week basis.
Probably going to do the DB with MySQL and Perl and see if I can
get something free that would let me build charts on the fly for
my own personal use, at least until WG makes better tools
available.

Only 2 stats I care about are K/D and DC/DR. I also keep an eye
on my win% I try to keep it around 55%.

Naw..,... Was gonna post some crap and preach The Path of
Damage......
Do sense beating that horse again.
Damage is more important than kills which is more important than
wins.
More damage equals more kills which eaquals more wins

JoeDaFrogman: if you use MySQL and PHP, you can download pChart
for graphing. Works great, although in my implementation I
ditched their cache system and created my own, and modified the
usage to allow multiple graphs/page.

I have always paid attention to the stats, especially k/d,
damage c/r and exp per game. It is a great barometer for whether
I am improving or have stagnated. If I have a period of
stagnation, then I know it is time to go and increase my
knowledge some more.
The interesting part for me is the improvements I have made
since being in OFF. K/d and dam c/r have moved incrementally up
week after week, but the greatest increases have been in exp per
battle and damage per battle. I attribute this to not only to
the great advice I have received and to playing with a lot of
excellent teammates, but to just having teammates. :thumb:
