I tend to track my K/D ratio more than anything. If I see it
start dropping it tends to make me turn my game up a notch or
two....not sure why I'm so anal about that particular
stat....After reading my post here perhaps therapy is
needed...lol.

Guess I am the underachiever of the stat boys
I just look at them and wish they would go up faster
Takes nearly a week of play to get my damage and k/d to increase

I tend to review which tanks I have the lowest percentage in,
and then when the spirit hits me work on these until the win
percentage is brought up to an acceptable level 50+ %.
Otherwise, I don't really worry about it as they don't really
show how well you are as a team player.
I used to be a stat boy back in my MMO pvp days, but I've gotten
over it. I know how good or bad I am, and what I need to do to
improve. Listen and learn from those who are more experienced,
and study up on the available guides.

I check usually the next day after a tanking session. Like
Godfather and Cheesie, I mainly use it as a motivational tool
when I am sucking. I primarily look at damage ratio with K/D
secondary and win % third. I really don't worry about XP or
damage per battle since I tend to hop all over the place in
Tiers, especially platooning.
ta2dflip - you could post a template of your spreadsheet in the
Files section. It would be neat to get a little program or
macro to mine the WoT stats page. :thumb:

I
will post the spreadsheet as soon as I am done adding the rest
of the tanks to it. I only had medium and heavy tanks on it. Now
I am adding the Lights, TDs, and Artys. I'll try to get that up
for y'all today. It has what I think are the pertinent facts, if
you want any other details added, just let me know later.

Nowhere to go but up is what I thought when I first saw them.
Well I have improved. My 1st 3k games I was just learning what
not to do. I was a newbie and lone wolfed it a lot then I found
OFF. I did not even know anything about them until I joined the
clan and saw some stats posted and then checked mine I think I
was almost down to 45% W/L (ouch). Then I started becoming
knowledgeable watching videos, reading the forum helped alot and
with Cernig's great coaching and several Platoon mates Russ,
Darth, Shard, Preach, Phunk, Prophecy, and others I learned a
great deal. I am now at almost 49% in a couple months (I know
not great but My K/D has improved a lot and my damage is really
good. So I'm somewhat satisfied. I feel like I have come a long
way and am now pretty knowledgeable about the game and can
compete on any tier and hold my own I continue to try to improve
a little bit every day but most important have fun with my Clan
Buddies!

Funny this subject came up today... On the main forums, they are
discussing the fact that a website in russia is calculating
player efficiency. It looks like it will track day to day
changes.

If you use google chrome, it will translate it for you. I
signed up, but it looks like you need to wait 24 hours to get
your first rating.

Strangely enough I was looking for a stat-tracking API today as
well. I was thinking it might be nice to track a group of stats
for myself on weekly deltas rather than throwing my first 2000
games in when I -really- didn't know that I didn't know what I
was doing.
I'd still rather look to an API so I can dump the results into a
sheet/DB to do stats analysis, but this would be a start.
I'll have to look at this.

Best case scenario would be for WG to let us download ALL our
battle results. They must have them.
The stat monkeys could really go to town then :thumb:
