The WG business model.....
Step 1) Come up with a plan to offer people the chance to "earn"
a premium vehicle.
Step 2) Offer a near OP tank as the vehicle, pissing off
everyone who had ever spent money on some of the junk premiums
which you have trotted out.
Step 3) Continue to have "Get a free tank!" contests, while
offering increasingly less capable vehicles as the prizes, until
you are offering downgraded, crappy tanks with fancy paint jobs.
Step 4) Since a premium can only be purchased with real money,
offering this opportunity to the non-paying portion of your
community gives them a glimpse of how "great" premiums tanks
are, and ultimately convinces them to open their wallets.
Step 5) Cackle derisively while viewing your bank statement,
bloated with money from the unwary.

Did they nerf the Motherland on the One? I know it is still a
beast on the 4....but you are right, a nerf, whether it has
taken place yet or not, will occur.

No, but they've done it to a number of tanks that I paid real
money for! To be honest all the premiums we have earned have
been underwhelming from the start in my opinion.

I finished the OP and picked the Kaiju simply because I don't
have a Japanese crew trainer.

Is anyone playing the Kaiju, yet? Is it any fun? I want the
Panther more, but the practical side of me keeps saying Kaiju
because of the nation training thing...

The Kaiju is a solid tank. I got to play it a few times after I
selected it, and the pen is really good for tier 6. It easily
pens tigers at tier 7 and I have damaged the Pershing at tier 8.
MM has kind of sucked though putting me in tier 8 matches.
The armor is great with blocked damage averaging about 500. I
trolled the German 8.8 a few times. I am satisfied with its
performance, and consistently earn between 50-60k per match, win
or lose. Most damage rolls are 300 plus. and in a Tier 6, it
rules (watch for FURY's and other fast moving vehicles) Don't
let any of the faster mediums and lights get close, as the
circle of death is ugly. The gun does not have great
depression, so up close and personal it will not brawl well.
There is my early assessment. HTH :coin:
