Not sure on the British line....
By: ta2dflip Date: August 4, 2014, 9:56 am

I've been looking and reading on the different tanks to see what
tanks I want from the different countries. Of course from the
Russian line I finally got my KV-1S and so far am loving it,
ready for the package upgrades, but it's still a power house and
moves at a decent speed. In the German line I am going for the
Tiger and Tiger II lines, it's just taking forever.... And in
the American line I am grinding down the TD line of tanks to at
least get to the Hellcat, but will go higher I'm sure. Then I
want to take a tank from the British line to fill the fourth
spot...but was not a huge fan of the Churchill and Black Prince.
Any suggestions would be awesome. Doesn't have to be a rocket on
tracks, but faster then a Black Prince and have fire power but
reload at least as fast as the KV-1S. Thank you in advance for
the help.

You might want to grind up to the Cromwell. Its a great British
tank, good speed, good cannon. Tier VI.

British mediums are a strong line...and you end up at the
Centurion, 7/1 and the FV4202 (possibly the Chieftan at some
point), which I feel are awesome. I have the AT series up to the
Tortoise and still grinding for the 183, but since you said
"faster than a Black Prince" these probably wouldn't be your cup
of tea...

British mediums are the way to go. I still have my Cruiser 3
and 4 great guns in lower tier matches. The Cromwell is one of
the funnest tanks to play out there. I enjoy the comet (fully
upgraded), unlike one well known comet hater, it is a pretty
good, versatile tank. The Centurion I fully upgraded is a
beast! I am still 50k away form the 7/1, so cannot give too
much input into this one.

I agree with Ox:
If you want some decent speed in the British line, mediums are
definitely the way the to go. The Cromwell (Tier 6) and the
Centurion 1 (Tier 8) are fun tanks to play and I've heard great
things about the Centurion 7/1 (Tier 9). The only downside of
the medium line is "The-Tank-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named" at tier 7.
If you can make it through the Black Prince, the tier 8
(Caernarvon) has decent speed for a heavy. Of course that's
mainly due to the fact that it plays more like a light
heavy/heavy medium.

Cool, it's always good to get the word from people that have
played them. I had the Covenanter and that tanks with it's Derp
gun sent me through the roof, hated that damn thing and I
couldn't hit anything right in front of me :shitshitshit: I
guess I'll have to grind past it and get to a higher tier. Thank
you all for the input. And Shard, if I get the Comet and you're
on the red team, don't get too mad if I kill you with it...lmao
just playing...sort of....

The Cromwell will remain in my garage forever (unless they
change something about it). The Comet will be sold as soon as I
get past it. I don't hate it like i first did, but i really
don't enjoy it. I find that i have to stay way back and be a
boring support flanker tank, which goes totally against my play
style.

This is good to hear, all I know is it left Shard to die...or so
the story seems to go.

The Covenantor is a horrible tanks, the Crusader sucks until the
final package -- but then it turns into a beast. Flank the big
boys and brawl the lights -- tons of fun.
The Cromie is a tough one, IMHO -- when it first came out folks
weren't sure what to do with 'em. But now they become a top
priority due to their speed and pretty dang decent gun. And that
speed can get you into trouble quite quickly (at least it does
me!).
