       Update 3.3 "Typhoon" Coming Soon!
   DIR By: guest32
       Date: September 12, 2016, 6:15 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Update 3.3: Typhoon brings a host of exciting additions -- from
new British tanks and maps to new ways to evaluate modules and
armor. Check out what this release brings!
       The Crown's New Tier Xs
The Centurion Action X comes in as the new tier X medium tank,
replacing the FV4202. This warhorse is a variant of the
Centurion 7/1 and has an advanced turret with nearly 200mm of
       armor.
The Chieftain Mk. 6, a tier X heavy tank, makes its debut in
World of Tanks and has some of the toughest turret armor in the
British line. Fear not! The FV215b isn't going away; it's
       getting a viable teammate!
The Crown adds two powerful tanks that'll shake up tier X
       battles!
The Chieftain Mk. 6 is coming to Console first? Join the
       conversation:
       /r/ Update 3.3 - "Typhoon"
       CHIEFTAIN MK. 6 & CENTURION ACTION X
       4 SLIDES
       FV4202 Goes Premium
With the arrival of the Centurion Action X, the FV4202 becomes a
       tier VIII Premium tank.
As a one-time offer, all players who own the tier X FV4202 in
their Garage at the time of the update will be given the
Centurion Action X and the new Premium FV4202 (with Garage
       slot).
If, in the past, you previously owned the tier X FV4202 and sold
it, you will be given the Premium FV4202 (and slot), but not the
Centurion Action X. Instead, the Action X will appear as
researched in the Tech Tree, but you must purchase it with
       Silver.
What Moves from the Tier X FV4202 to the Centurion Action X
       Crew and Tank XP
Battle stats and Marks of Excellence
       Emblems, inscriptions, camouflage
       All equipment
A New Map and Map Variant
       THIEPVAL RIDGE
Making the "Trench Warfare" map was such a joy, we added a
variant to Random Battles! This larger version (1.2 x 1.2 km) is
set in France during WWI, and features improved graphics in its
       forest, craters, bunkers and more.

       PACIFIC ISLAND - TYPHOON
For a paradise island out in the Pacific, it's really gone
through rough times. And just when you think it's seen it all, a
typhoon hits it! Dense fog and downpour of rain have turned this
       isle into a low-visibility battlefield.

       Multiple Consumable Use
Ever wondered why you can't use multiple Repair or First Aid
Kits on the same tank? Now you can add multiple select
consumables to suit your specific game style! You'll still have
only three consumable slots, but now you can equip certain
       consumables twice.
Note: Premium nation-specific consumables (such as food) can
       only be equipped once.
       REGULAR CONSUMABLES
The following can be equipped twice.
       • Small Repair Kit
       • Small First Aid Kit
       • Manual Fire Extinguisher
       • Lend-Lease Oil (bonuses stack)
       • Quality Oil (bonuses stack)

       PREMIUM CONSUMABLES
The following can be equipped twice.
       • Large Repair Kit (bonus doesn't stack)
       • Large First Aid Kit (bonus doesn't stack)
       • Automatic Fire Extinguisher (bonus doesn't stack. Only one
Fire Ext. will activate automatically if set on fire.)
       Armor and Component Viewer
We're super excited about this popular request! The "Details"
menu in the Garage now includes additional information on your
vehicles including new Garage stat ratings, a Component Viewer,
       Armor Viewer, and more.
       Stat Rating
New stat rating bars on the right side of the Garage screen rate
your vehicles from 1-100 in five categories: Firepower,
Survivability, Mobility, Concealment and Spotting. The stat bars
also display your vehicle's current rating (white) and max
       potential rating (light grey).
Note: These ratings only take mounted packages into account.
Bonuses from Consumables, Equipment, Crew Skills/Perks, etc. are
       not included.
       Details Menu
Pressing the "Details" button will bring you to the Module
Viewer, where you can see a breakdown of what items are used to
       determine your vehicle's Stat Rating.
       Firepower: Standard shell damage; near penetration (at 100m);
       reload time
       Survivability: Armor depth; hit points

       Mobility: Max speed; engine power
       Concealment: Stationary; moving
       Spotting: View range; signal range
       "Module Viewer" Tab
This tab allows you to select different modules on your vehicle.
This will highlight the module, display its location and provide
       additional stats about the module.
Ex. Engine components on the Action X
Ever wondered why you don’t set enemies on fire often enough as
you'd like, or why you keep getting ammo-racked in your favorite
tanks? Use the "Module Viewer" to learn where key components are
       located!
       "Armor Viewer" Tab
This tab shows overall armor of the vehicle, individual armor
piece range, or viewing armor of a certain thickness. If a
vehicle does not have any armor inside an armor range, it cannot
       be selected.
Ex. Side armor values of the Action X
Should you really angle tanks like the IS-3 or 110? Just how
much additional protection do you get by angling the Tiger I?
Review all that data with the Armor Viewer!

Yep. Both it and the 215b, though not sure how much XP you'll

Action X "felt" better than the 4202, and most info is that is
       is a better vehicle.
The tank i enjoyed the most though was the Mk6 - like the
Leopard, T-62, etc., it is based on a modern-ish tank and plays
like those others. The only issue is the hull - it is
thiiiiiiiin - def not a 215 hull. But great dpm.
"Removed "Flank Left" and "Flank Right" radial
commands".......now if they could remove all the other ones as
well that would be good :sceptic:
