It is impossible — literally im-freaking-possible — to have a
group this large and not have cliques develop. It's just human
nature.

with the new folks. And part of that is remembering that, as a
clan full of Ye Oldentyme Pharts, we have a LOT of people who
have never played a multiplayer game before. They might not know
etiquette, or how to switch chat channels, or other features.
There's also the trepidation of meeting new people and not
knowing how you'll get along, and the fact that not everyone is
outgoing. [/font]
So, for me, being a "senior" OFFer just means that I should try
to be the one doing the inviting when I can, or dropping in on
some new folks. Doing so can help quell that concern and show
that we are welcoming as a clan.
I will note, however, that just because someone is a Senior
OFFer doesn't mean they are a good tanker. Like me, for
instance: I was platooning with some newer folks this weekend
who deferred to me with tactics. I am NOT good enough to do
that! I am a weekend warrior ... a guy who will die covering a
flank all alone ... who is totally, 100% average ... who will
make questionable jokes at inapprorpriate times ... and serves
as a target for the likes of Faethor, Black51X, and many others.

Shorter version: Cliques will happen, invite n00bs often. Oh,
and stop shooting at me. :smileplain:

I think I will try and become one who actually platooned with
everyone at least once. Hah! I have enough trouble (really
large group already), recognizing the GT's of the group.
I really did try to change myself back to "Plebe" but yeah, like
u said, this is based on postings or such --- so I can't do
that.
No, I am NOT an excellent tanker; however, I am improving (good
enuff for me).
Now I can only be decent with ARTY and get my durn Pz 38 n.t. or
was it n.a? up to snuff. Memory fails so I belong with OFF.
yeah, if I am marked "busy" or "offline" i am either playing 1
or 2 battles @ time and running off to do other chores.
also, probably rocking out to the music while attempting to
battle (very difficult due to some extremely long reload times).

the newbies that. LOL
As for the smileys, what not working for you? What is the
issue?
If anyone else is having issues there is a section just for
posting issues to so they can be addressed.

A few just show up as the text "wotoff" instead of the image.
The rolling eyes one and facepalm are the two that did it to me.
(Using Chrome on Windows 7, if that helps any.)
Not a big deal at all. New sites always have issues. :-)
