** To ALL members **

1. It has been brought to my attention that we may be
developing some cliques. Playing with people you know is not a
bad thing, but to be a cohesive clan we need to spread ourselves
around, not just play with the same people all the time. Find a
couple of new members, invite them to platoon, and help them get
to know our clan and our members. I'm not saying you have to
NEVER play with the same people, but try to reserve some time to
spread yourself around.
2. If someone sends you an invite, please at least be courteous
enough to at least respond with a platoon/party full message.
If you are solo grinding, or you have a party that is at the
limits of the number of people you can stand, then have the
members of the party show as busy/away. You might check your
settings and make sure you have notifications turned on. If you
are in a party and have slots available but are trying to avoid
the 'MS party bounce' then have it by invite only, but at least
respond to those that message you. Just don't leave people
sitting in the dark when they send you a request.
Thank you

Wow! I saw the email and finally found where this was posted on
the forum. We haven't even got rolling and there are "cliques"?
Hmmm ... new goal: see if I can platoon at least once with
each member. I don't think this is achievable for me since I
don't have tanks in all tiers, and I am not especially fond of
being a scout that is going to die (aka WWII kamikaze) without
significantly damaging the enemy.
Maybe we ought to have an award/achievement/medal of our own for
those who platoon:
a) at least once with each member;
b) at least once with each member AND a victorious in a battle
with each member (is this even doable)?
c) probably others but I am trying to make the clock go faster
so I can go home and tank (yeah, I know, we also have other
"home" duties).

Nothing like messaging someone "Hey I'm gonna run my tier"blank,
let me know if you got room?" N hearing nothing but silence.
Lol.
On the other hand if anyone sees me online and wants to play a
tune just send me a message I have tiers 1 through 8.

I'm fairly new around here, but if I'm playing WoT I'm always
looking to platoon. Running Tier IV - VII.
See you in game! :salute:

In general, my philosophy, as well as many others, is that if I
want to lone wolf or just grind, I change my status to busy or
appear offline. Otherwise anyone can pop in to an existing
platoon or send me a message to platoon.

That's what I usually do, too.
SO, if you see me online feel free to send a platoon invite!

hmmmmm
I am gonna stir the pot here.
I have seen a number of founders in matches. Their online
status says offline.
Not naming names but everyone needs to be held to the same
standard.
I really would like to play with them,
but............................
So if that is the case then everyone needs to platoon with
everyone.

well, not to name names, but the founders do platoon sometimes,
and sometimes show as offline because we are/have been
discussing subjects that don't need to be public. Some of us
founders also spend one hell of a lot of time working on the
forums, and when in game, we spend most of our time running with
the new guys/gals helping them become acquainted with OFF, WOT
and things in general, so yes sometimes the founders like to run
with their friends once in a while. My friends list has about a
75% turn over every two weeks because I make it a point to
platoon with the new guys/gals.
