Ranked battles test starting 09/07

Yup, if I wasn't so silver poor I'd love to buy the Chaffee back
and give it a go.
5/4 is able to hold its own but heavies are seeming to dominate.
Also, capping is really taking front and center stage. Everybody
is playing for the win.

But winning doesn't really matter, per se. It's all about your
damage, spotting, etc.
Or at least that's how it was presented. (Note that, overall,
stats from Ranked Battles don't count -- none of those matches
will show up on your stats page ... in theory.)

From what I'm seeing, your total XP is what drives your ranking,
so a win gives you 1.5x more XP. I could be way off on that but
Wargaming seems to be putting an emphasis on victories.
Honestly though, just like getting a tier X tank, if you suck
long enough and hard enough you will get there..... Just ask
Matt.

Not true i had a 1785 damage game top of the board and lost 55
points it was a loss

Winning is important, and bonus is damage, high damage in a loss
sees less loss points

I played last night. It was fun. I think the points system is
focused on winning and losing.

WG states
Tankers who perform well and win will earn extra points, while
those who perform well but lose won't lose as many points.
