want me" or just play like I normally play and try to cover
platoon mates ass in trouble...I'm still finding my way as well.
Glad you got to get in and have some fun.

That's exactly it.

Big parties can be fun, but agree that they can also be uber
confusing -- especially if on the same map as the other platoon,
but not the same game.
In those cases, I really do feel like we should switch to game
chat. Heck, I think we should do that no matter what, as it can
help the team, but not everyone likes to do so. I get it, so am
flexible.

Xbox navigation skills vary widely.......often times game chat
is horrible with kinnects users loud music and swearing... not
sure that is the answer
I prefer party chat or no chat to game chat

When playing WoT, I try to limit the party to platoonmates when
possible. Often, though, I will set a party up with just
myself, as I prefer it over hearing the randoms when playing
alone. People are welcome to jump in and my friends do. If
I've set the party to "invite only" I will also show as busy -
these are times when I can't use my mic or otherwise need to
lone wolf.
I guess my point with all that is anyone who has me on their
friends list and sees me online (not "busy") and in a party, it
may well be just me anyway, so jump in! :gunning:

You don't have to navigate the Xbox windows to mute those Kinect
douchers. I learned a shortcut to muting them the other night.
Step 1: Hit the map button.
Step 2: Scroll down the player list to the doucher whose mic
icon is constantly visible.
Step 3: Choose that player and the Xbox window for muting comes
right up. Press up instead of scrolling down to mute at the
bottom of the list and voila, sweet silence.

Glad for this post, I too have been a newbie afeared of joining
an existing party, now I know I can just barge on in I'll be
doing that :)
I did try to invite some folks I saw that weren't in a party but
I think something's goofy with my router settings that won't let
me invite others into a party, but I can join just fine.
Looking forward to doing some co-op tanking!
