       Platoon advice

What's the proper etiquette when looking for a platoon? I hate
to barge in on someone's party chat, but not sure of
alternatives. I've been mostly waiting for invites as of late.

Mike If your not comfortable jumping into parties then I might
also suggest inviting anyone who is not in a party to a game
with you to Platoon on your friends list. If you got 20-30+
OFFers on your friends list then there are bound to be someone
looking as well. The more you play with more and more guys they
get to know you frequently. I will look for you.

I asked the same question when I started. Found out we don't
stand on formalities. Hop in and see if there is an open spot.
Usually we'll try and get a second platoon started or break into
smaller platoons so everyone can run together. Sometimes its not
possible due to number of folks on and the stinking llimitations
of tge xbox friends list (100 frinds pffft).
When we do flesh out the platoons eventually these will go off
and form their own parties. This is to reduce chatter as WOT
will dump us into different matches making tactical
       communications a little confusing.
Anyway for the TL; DR version use the Beverly Hillbillies
rule...hop in sit and sit a spell. Don't worry we don't bite
usually except for chicken wings and pizza. :)

^^what he said...don't be shy. And if you see someone else not
in party, send them an invite. Most of us are happy to have
someone to grind with, run through our daily x2's, and generally
cause mayhem and destruction on the battlefield!

It's like going for a swim. You know the water is cold but just
take the plunge. It's a shock to the system and freezes your
jibbly bits but you warm up quickly
Just jump in and say hi. We're all on leashes so won't bite.

As previously stated just hop in. There maybe a platoon spot. If
not quite a few of us will just hit a party for a chat. Feel
free to FR me. We get some great party traffic sometimes.
       Always good.

Please please please don't be shy. their are a couple of great
things that happen when you jump into a party.
       1. You get realy cool and nice people to platoon with like me.

       2. Their might be OFFers in that party that are not on your
friends list and it is a great opportunity to expand your
       friends list. :salute:
       3. Check out the friends list of others in the party and find
more OFFers that are not on your list.
       4. When you jump into a party you will ALWAYS be welcome.
Remember they might be in a battle and may not notice you right
away so make sure you say hello. I will accept a FR from any
       OFFer.
