but seriously, we used to worry about the glow of a lit
cigarette giving away our position
these bloody things are much brighter than that!
they screw with your night vision, make you lose precious sack
time
(even after you shut 'em off, it takes longer to get to sleep
and a groggy Marine is not as effective as an alert one)
they give off traceable electronic signatures, distract you from
the surroundings that could kill ya, and oh yeah:
They make GeneralBuayas Optical Comparator get all fuzzy
