Always thought the M8 scout was bigger than that
... well now that I’ve seen the pics, no sense in going...

The "German towed mortar (2"?)" is actually a pack howitzer
meant for alpine use.. To unlock the breech, You would tip the
back of the barrel up so that the chamber was exposed and you
could load/unload.

Ken, since you mention that, I recall something like that
explanation. I'll verify next weekend, and circle back.

That's not a StuG III. The III has six road wheels, StuG IV had
7.

Last group, I swear (for today lol)!
Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf C, aka Cheesedick!!!

Buoilder used blueprints, pictures, and drawings to build this.
Also, he used a UK Bren GC chassis - look at the
drive/idler/road wheels, then the same arrangement in the last 2
pix.

I know it's not an actual III, the guy used various parts that
he could get to build it. He said he based it off of the III,
and got it as close as he could with what he had.

Thanks for the pics. It appears to me that guys driving, using
these vehicles must have been 5'7" and weighed less than 150 or
they would not fit in them. Scary to think how it must have felt
to bounce around in these war machines.
