But what is a tryhard? Is it someone who tries hard to win and
get lots of kills? If so, then yes, I am a try hard because I
like to get lots of kills and XP and Silver for killing the suck
hards.
I used to load premium rounds when I was learning how to play
heavies, then learned to play without them and have since had
some phenomenal games, much better games than when used premium.
I don't care when people do, it's their money to waste in my
opinion, but I'm always farming silver so I try to waste as
little as possible.

I shoot APCR at same tiers....i dont care what people think. If
i do get whined at my reply is...."Get better job".....which is
a stupid and childish response but it makes me giggle

And you can replenish them with silver, which is a renewable
resource increased by - guess what - doing more damage with a
more potent weapon.....the question shouldn't be if you should
be using them, but why the hell are you NOT using them?!?!

100% this. To not use skill rounds is to seriously reduce your
capability for destruction especially vs same tier heavies,
higher tiers, other OFF members etc. Greater penetration -
whats not to like..... :girl:

I also load plenty of premium and am happy to be described as a
"tryhard" - I like to win and will do what I need to do to get
an advantage or put myself on a more level playing field.
Often when I'm low tier, I'll load gold immediately at the start
of the match.
If I drive certain scouts like the MT-25, I'll shoot almost
exclusively gold.
If I'm taking out a tank with really crappy pen like the IS-6 or
Motherland, I'll bring along plenty of gold to use
situationally.
It is a tool to be used in the game to kill the tools you
encounter in the game. Those who cry that they "can't afford"
to use it (aka - can't figure out how to pay silver for it,
instead of gold) deserve to die, anyways!

I have no issue with using premium ammo...quite common for me to
throw at least a few rounds downrange every game. For example,
in some tanks, I use premium ammo exclusively, such as the
Excelsior, and sometimes the Churchill III, when faced with Tier
VI reds such as the Jumbo, T-150, Churchill VII, AT-8, M-6, etc.
My thoughts are this...if I were in a real battle, and I had
some really good ammunition, and some regular ammunition, you
can bet I'll use the good stuff if it means my survival and
doing as much damage as possible.
Can I afford it? Betchyer ass I can! I have some premium tanks
that I bought with Gold (aka real money or Bing search credits)
that I play for that very reason, grinding silvers to help pay
for the premium ammo I use.
For those that don't use premium ammo by choice, that's fine -
if you can do well without it, kudos to you. Personally, if it's
in the game, and I can use it, and it makes a difference towards
getting a win for the team, I'm going to use it.
For the players that complain about other players using premium
ammo, well, it's in the game, available for everyone. It's a
choice not to use it, not a condition.
