Have any of you downloaded and played the public beta of new
version? They reward you for testing, and in the beta you have
lots of goodies to try out, including silver and T6 ships.

August 9th to the 15th. Eight days of premium, Tier 6 ships, 15m
in credits, 1000 doubloons, level 12 automatically, 3000
conversion points. You don't get to keep all this after public
test, but you can try out some new ships ect. It is a separate
download and separate test account, but you use your WG email.
There are rewards which stay with you when you play regular
game.

I was on the test server yesterday, running tier 6 Cruisers,
mostly trying torps on them trying to get used to using
them...not well but I was getting decent hits. :ammo:
