I knew that post title would get you to click :troll:
       I'm ready to rugger/purchase new tanks...the three I'm looking
       at are the following:
       - 50/100
       - Ru 251
       - M41 Bulldog
Anyone have any advice or comments about those 3 tanks?

Nothing but good to say about the 50/100. Play it as a support
tank, play peek-a-boo, and don't expect to shoot your entire
clip into someone without getting hit. I usually shoot twice and
pull back into cover. One of my favorite VIII's overall.
I liked my Bulldog enough I sold my T-71. A great light to put
the circle of death on a lone heavy.
       I don't have 251....yet. I know I don't like getting shot by
       them though!

I have to hand it to those that have mastered the 50/100.
Playing that tank lone wolfing was an exercise in frustration
for me :palm:... Guess it totally depends on play style.

I know nothing about the 50/100...
Bulldog. Could be considered the best tank in the game. Its
definately the best of all the tier VII AND tier VIII light
tanks. Very flexible. Both final gun options are viable.
RU 251. Fun tank. Fast, but a little lacking in traverse.
Circling heavies is a challenge. But the gun is very cool.
ALL ammo options are good, and have their uses.

       Get all three!! Seriously.
50/100 is best played in a platoon imho - where you can
communicate and have someone cover your butt during the reload.
Solo i found i had to play too timid, which i dont do well. But
nonetheless, it is a good vehicle - more of a medium though. Oxi
is a great 50/100 player, would def ask his opinion.
Bulldog is a great vehicle and a lot of fun to play. It does
everything a light should very well, and 8s and 9s have to
respect it when it is close to them. I try to shot them right
away when i see them - they are just too dangerous if they make
it late in to a game. I would ask Remy or TKE about this vehicle
       - they both play it very well.
I play the 251 more passive than the Bulldog so that i can keep
one the games best guns in the fight as long as possible - but
it is still a light, and does well in that role. I would ask
Chilli about the best way to play this tank - he is fearsome in
       pub or comps with it.
Btw, i am sure there are other folks that play these tanks
excellently (like the guy who posted right before me) - i have
just mentioned the ones i have seen most recently.
(The previous statement was brought to you by the OFF Anti-Drama
       Committee :salute:)

The 50/100 is a strange beast.... It can be the most dangerous
tier VIII tank in the game but it is a totally different
mind-set to drive than other heavy tanks. You have to be
comfortable picking your spots and unafraid to pull a "Brave Sir
Robin" and run away and hide. After 300+ battles in it I still
find myself playing it too aggressively and really need to reign
myself in. I usually am more then willing to trade a hit or even
2 to empty my clip, early in a match, and then pick my spots as
the game progresses. This is especially the case in
competitions... If I can get one tank off the map early, then
this can shift the direction of the match.
I almost never play it when I am in a pub match solo. You can
consistently do 1000-1800 damage but the main issue is trying to
       survive that 45 second reload.

The Bulldog is a beast, but the nerf to the single shot is quite
frustrating (4 second reload for the damage it does is crap).
Might try the autoloader, though it's heavier and slows the tank
down a bit. I have no concerns taking it into tier X games.
The RU is...confusing, IMHO. It's fast, and the gun is good, but
the shell travel time is noticeably slow on standard rounds and
makes sniping a challenge. The HEAT is nice in terms of shell
velocity, but you see a lot of spaced armor at upper tiers that
just swallows your rounds. And the acceleration is lacking.
To be honest, I'm kinda disappointed with it. Was expecting too
       much I guess...?
Anyway, not sure that helps...
