Training Tuesdays

Since there has been more demand than I first thought (which is
fantastic!) I see this as two phases that need to happen pre and
post training.
Remy will take those that have been through the training into
the live servers and practice with live matches.
I will open a training room and go over the basics with the new
trainees. After the initial training is over for my guys, I will
get with Remy to see if we can get the new trainees in with some
mentors that have had some practice and continue the live server
run.
The hard part is that everyone is just starting to learn this
right now and no one has perfected these new techniques. Some of
the logistics will still have to be worked out and I want to run
this training every week. Once the echelon fire and
double-sidescraping techniques have really been refined then we
can start working on other phases of the game. We have plenty of
time to perfect our technique, so no hurry.
Sign up in this thread so I can get a head count and divy up
this training.

Ruggers has been kind enough to take some time and teach us how
to echelon fire and double sidescrape. These are some great
tactics and I want to do 2 things with this new training.
1. Practice, practice, and practice.
2. Spread the knowledge onto those that want to learn to better
there battlefield tactics.
To that end I am establishing Training Tuesdays, open to all.
This training is open to all that want to learn and run
together. The idea is the those of us with special talents;
running lights effectively, echelon fire, swarm techniques will
train the trainers in a special session then we as trainers can
train all those that wish to learn. We will run open public
matches to earn silver and XP, you do not need premium for this
event.
Training Tuesday will not be easy as we are practicing new
techniques and trying to rid ourselves of old, bad habits
(Matt). The training will start at 2200 EST 10:00 Eastern on
Tuesday nights.

I can be there most Tuesdays..."training the trainers" is a
great idea.
Addressing Calammo's EU question - if the EU guys can start a
thread to get the EU comp members, or whoever wants to
participate on a Saturday or Sunday, together, i would be happy
to go over the same info i was taught and that we just went
over.

This old dog is up to refreshing my learning ability. I would
look forward to learning how to be a better tanker and platoon
mate.
