SNS. What would you like to run?

Due to the clan's involvement with external competitions the
last few months, SNS which used to be a weekly thing got put on
the back burner.
For those who don't know, SNS (Saturday Night Smackdown) is a
fun event that helps those who have not platooned in a large
group get some practice time doing so.
SNS takes place in the "Training Rooms" and while damage repairs
are free, ammo and consumables are charged. However, the plus
side is that you get to shoot at fellow OFFers all the time.
The start time is 10pm Eastern on the East server.
New members are highly encouraged to try this at least once!

I vote for the mixed bag of tier VI. KV-85 or T34-85 bringing
the Russian pain. :peace:

I would like to revisit the ToG/KV-2 (which i missed) and the
T-29/Tiger match ups (in which i played and which still pisses
me off!!)
How about some "All one Tank" match ups maybe - everyone brings
the same vehicle?

Any thoughts to doing historical battles?
Pz. IIIs vs. Matildas on Sand River ... T-34s and KV-1s vs.
StuGs, Pz. IVs on Arctic Region and Prok ... that kind of thing.
We'd have to specify what packages folks could use and make sure
the numbers are balanced correctly, but it could be interesting
...

We could, but I realize that it can hard to balance the tanks
though. I'm not familiar with lower tier tanks to know what
matches up with what.

The TOG/KV2 one was nasty and way too unbalanced with the KV-2's
derp gun.
The T29 vs Tiger 1 could be done again.
All one tank is doable, but I'm sure some members will need to
buy/re-buy the selected tank. I usually sell all the tanks I've
"Elite'ed" and I'm sure there are those like me too.

Historical should be doable - even a simple reference like Wiki
has references to the vehicles and numbers used in the battles
normally.
What battles? You already suggested a few with the tanks and
maps you listed....
El Alamein
Kursk
....what about....
Kasserine Pass
Battle of the Bulge
Raisenai - with the KV-2 from hell! lol

All good ideas Brad, although Corbantis/Gunmetal will probably
run some of those for special occasions.

June SNS Special Event: Operation Overlord
Tiers: V and VI
Type: Allies - British, French or Americans. Axis - Well you
have to choose from Germany or Germany. To simulate Naval
Bombardment three Berts can be used, but they are limited to
water areas of South Beach.
Maps: South Beach, Abbey, Ruinberg, Ensk - All Assault (Thinking
about changing Ensk to Murovanka.)
Germans can play up to three Tigers on Ensk, but are limited to
two arty.
No rewards, just some fun.
Let me know what y'all think. Thanks
