No , you are absolutely correct here. With the limited ammo
supply that a lot of derp setups have , its very important to
prioritize what your going to be shooting at. Obviously focus
fire on a tank you have taken down to less than 5% when you have
a team mate or 2 surrounding him , its going to be a waste of
you damage to use it one him . On the other hand , if its
something that u know very few others are going to be putting a
dent into ,such as a british AT class , or a jumbo head on ,
then you may want to take him out , even tho it may be over
kill.
Personally i go for damage in a match 1st , then kills when i
play derp tanks. Whatever makes it easier for you team to win !

Been considering getting the 122 derp seeing the stock gun sucks
enough to be a wet dry vac.
Yes you are on target. With the limited ammo I'd be out for
damage and not kills. Damage is silver and is what wins games.
Do massive module damage and the red tank is nearly useless and
often take them out of the fight or reduces their role while
they try to hide. Other than the Yolos. Roll with a another
tank/td with a high ROF to finish them off.

Thanks.
My derp-fu is coming along nicely. Best shot so far was on
Prok. Spawned at north base so went to the north rail x-ing and
parked up there to cover max area. Saw a M8A1 or similar flying
over the middle x-ing heading east and led him all through the
village until he got to the foot of the high ground. By now he
was at full tilt and dodging a barrage of shells from us. Sent
my 122 on its merry way and it just greased him in one shot. I
punched the air a little.

I thought I'd hate it. Tried it a bit with the KV-1, and it was
OK.
Had my @$$ handed to me multiple times in a KV-2 until I got the
upgraded packages, and remembered to SWITCH TO HE!!! every time.
Once I figured out how to run with a pack, sit behind the big
boys while reloading, and take the shot *JUST* at the right time
while it's aiming to hit (i.e. don't sit there too long), it's
getting fun/effective. Haven't played in a week or so, but when
I had some solo time last week I played the hell out of the KV-2
And if the pack you're running with gets killed, start backing
up - not enough time/DERP to take out more than one or two
rushing you. That 20-ish seconds of reload can seem REALLY long
at times.
