invaded by former GE folks)...

Almost all automotive background. Currently I am supposed to be
the service manager for a Freightliner dealer.
In reality I am a service writer, parts counterman, warranty
admin, porter, light duty tech, slave for the sales department,
whipping boy for the GM and scapegoat for the owner of a
Freightliner dealer.

My background and job is less exciting:
I've always worked in the building trade as an apprentice
trained Painter & Decorator. but 10 years ago I left for a job
working for a large manufacturer of building chemicals. Within
the company I've done sales, Technical consultancy and now
working as a purchaser/ buyer (whatever you want to call it).
Its good to see that fifastreet315 is a money laundering officer
my other half works in that sector selling Anti money laundering
verification systems to the financial sector & has done for the
last 15 years. She now works as a global fraud consultant. yeh
she's much more clever-er-er than me

I've been in Software Development for 30 years. A true OG nerd.
Currently, I run a Global Development Group that writes Tax
software for large companies.(Every Gvmt wants their damn
money...lol). I love my current job because I get to work from
home, but occasionally get to take off my bunny slippers to tour
our development centers though out the world. I've always loved
meeting new peoples and cultures, it really provides a
perspective on how goodlwe have it compared to less fortunate
parts of the world.
I'm on tour now and really jonesing to play WOT. I'm detoxing
pretty bad right now..... :scream:

Will ask her about that one, she does explain her job but most
of the time she looses me. she can quote pretty much every part
of the directives like she is quoting lyrics to a song. its
uncanny

I have a short time before I'm back out on the fireline fighting
wildland fires in Montana. I work as a fire officer running a
Engine for a city fire department, spend most of my summer
deployed for wildland fires nation wide. I spent 16 yrs combined
in the Navy, Army and Coast Guard with my last 4 yrs as a rescue
swimmer, bootcamp three times is fun. After the military i
completed my RN and decided that was work, took a job as a
backcountry mtn guide in Montana and Colorado. Then fell into
this fire job, I have been doing this the last 12 yrs. life is
all about playing and having fun, still have not worked a day in
my life. Still a Kid
