       I created Goat Simulator. :hitself:
I played guitar in a band. We did weddings, a few clubs and got
a great gig being the house band for several frats down in Gator
Country. Even did a demo with Capricorn Records. Due to our
drummer having issues with white powder, our band imploded.
During this time, I managed various restaurants for 13 years.
Then was relieved of my position thanks to a robber who shot me
in the thumb and leg. Due to injuries I could no longer work the
6/12 hour days after I was promoted, which led to the
       "Performance Issues" line.
Then went to work for a Fortune 50 company working in their new
Financial Center. Worked my way up the food chain to being Lead
over multiple departments managing around 100 folks until I
ended up as a Process Engineer. Then worked on the transition
team after KOCH Industries bought us out, and eventually
off-shored the Financial part of the business.
Now working Financials for another company which was spun off
       from my old company.

Well I don't like to brag about that Brad. That NDA I signed
       with Nutella is very specific.

Most likely, it was an "unofficially behind the scenes" kinda
       thing

Wow - coincidences - i was shot in the thigh with a .22 pistol
collecting money for a white powder distributor in
1983.....during my less than righteous youth.
Luckily, i had a handy jar of Nutella to spread on the wound to
       stem the blood flow.....

.380 here. Just came back up to the front after talking on the
phone to my then-ex-girlfriend (who later became my ex-wife).
Guy came through the cutaway, pointed the gun at my chest.
He had a NY Yankees jersey and hat on, and a bandanna covering
his face. My Assistant Manager told him to "Stop playing games
like that in here." Robber says "You think I'm playing games!"
and pulls the trigger - luck would have it that he didn't have a
round chambered. He says "Oh Shit!" As I was reaching for my
keys to open the registers, he then shot me. Next thing I know,
I'm on the floor. Checked to see if I still had my thumb. My
Assistant Manager - an Army vet - is tripping out, yelling "Man
down!". They asked if I was okay and I asked for a smoke.
My grillman ran out the back door, comes back in with his gun to
shoot the robber, who had fled the scene, and almost got shot by
       the Police who responded.
Have to say the adrenaline rush that hit me when I was at
hospital was great. Once it wore off and the drugs they gave me
       - did the damn leg hurt.
The guy who did this was a fellow manager at another store. I
actually met him at a regional meeting that year. He and his
buddies had hit five other stores. He turned states evidence,
and got out after six months.
Silver lining to this is that had I not been shot, then I
probably would not have my son today.

Some diverse & interesting jobs..... what did I do or have I
       done........
After leaving college I worked in the stock room at BHS (British
Home Stores) then moved into the restaurant kitchen where I
cooked the fish chips. I ended up joining the Army (REME) in
1985 & trained up as an electronic technician specialising in
Radar supporting the wonderful RAPIER missile system but the
more interesting work was on the Cymbeline MkI & MkII mortar
locating Radar. The RAPIER was box swapping & the Cymbeline was
working down to component level so a little more interesting.
Served in 2 wars - Gulf & Yugoslavia (as it was then)
In fact it was while I was in Sarajevo was where I was handed my
redundancy notice by the Army.... remember it well! It even made
the national papers. Think I kept the article somewhere
       :smileplain:
Left the Army early 1995 & have worked in IT based companies in
order of appearance..... Symbol Technologies (support Wireless
Scanners & Networks), Sequent Technologies supporting the NUMA
UNIX systems (mainly hardware support) also had my 1st exposure
to fibre attached storage. Finally IBM as they bought Sequent.
My current role is supporting & providing consultancy on Network
       Attached Storage (NetApp Storage systems)
My only other work which I do in my spare time is for a road
safety charity where I coach regular drivers advanced driving.
That's it in a nutshell. Have been thinking of setting a little
driving business on the side where people pay me to coach them
to be a better driver but still at the thinking stage for the
       time being.
