WT auf Pz. IV 15cm gun

I would just like to say that the cannon on the WT auf Pz. IV,
15 cm Pak L/29.5 (first package upgrade) is a complete piece of
crap. I swear if I hadn't already used half my free XP to
upgrade to a suitable package on another tank I would give in
and pay the 10k I need to get to the Kanone package just to get
away from this unbelievable piece of #@%#$.

The first gun I found more accurate/penetrative.

General I have to disagree with you, it does alright on the
Waffle too.
I always ran the smaller gun on the WT IV but have seen Drakona
do well with it.

Have you been spamming HEAT? Because, from what I've read, that
seems to be the only way to get that 15 cm to work on the baby
Waffle or the Brosig (no, that's not a typo :troll: ).
It works on the E-OneHundreadful because it can bounce return
fire after it bounces its shot. Or after it blasts HE in
someone's face because, ya know, LOL reasons. But on the TDs,
it's for folks who like big numbers and that's about it.

While the HEAT has great pen, it bounces like heck at long
range, which limits its usefulness on a TD. Since the E100
brawker, this isn't as much of a problem.
The 15cm gun is more like horizontal arty (derp howitzer) than a
true AT gun like the 12.8cm

I must agree with this. The trouble with the Waffle is I can't
get close enough to use it effectively on consistent basis
without getting shredded. And while smallish in size you still
need a decent size rock or other obsticle to hide behind and
hope you can peek out enough fire without being fired upon. Very
aggravating the number of missed shots at 400-500 meters if the
opfor isn't showing their entire profile.

I somewhat agree with Duckman: I've used the 15cm gun, and
gotten ... okay results... using only High Explosive; the
results are wildly unpredictable, but you can get at least
_some_ damage on anything you hit; usually in the 300-damage
range. It beats bouncing, and it sure as heck is cheaper then
using premium. :hiding:
