ST-I: Love/Hate

It seems I either have monster or subpar games in this tank. On
the subpar games, Im either too slow to get to the fight, and
greens have mopped the floor, or Im too slow to the fight and
the greens have all died. Any suggestions for how to run more
consistently in it?

Been tempted a few times. Really want to try the IS-4 though, so
grinding along...

Yeah, I've got my E-75, and no plans to sell. Ill ditch the ST-I
when I get the IS-4 and just promote the crew.

In my opinion, the tier 10 Russian heavies aren't as good as the
Germans or Americans. Both the IS-7 and IS-4 are kind of a let
down after the long grinds.
The ST-I however is the best tier 9 heavy in the game. I don't
even blink an eye in a tier 10 game with this thing.
I really really really enjoy this beast. Hit's just as hard and
perhaps harder than the E-75, takes a beating and at times,
makes players turn around and run.
Spend some time learning the angles and hull down techniques
that work best with it, run in a group as often as possible and
kick the crap outta anything that gets in your way.
Do not give up on learning this thing...it won't let you down.

Yeah i can block 8-10k damage easy in it, i just never get
enough shots off due to slow reload/slow movement. In a platoon
i usually get left in the dust lmao

I have been interested in this as well.... Always seemed to be a
pretty damn good tanks with that turret... I have been thinking
that I want the IS4 over the 7 as well. My problem is that I
need to revisit that hellacious KV4 grind..... I would Rugger
it, but spent a ton of free XP on the russian light line....
bought past the MT25 and to the final package on the LTTB.

I don't know Mike, I don't own the ST-I but those I've come up
against are tough tanks with good guns. Sometimes you get on
bad teams and no matter what tank you have it's going to be a
bad game, maybe RNG is not on your side right now?

Do you have it fully upgraded? I felt the same until I got the
final gun, now I love it.
