I agree with Danger... TOP of tier this thing is a terror.
Most anything tier 9 eats it for lunch though. In up close
battles with other heavies, it is beastly...I actually shot down
into the hatch of an IS3 once and wipe out its hitpool. The
ROF really sucks, so charging into battle isn't a good idea.
Works superbly in urban settings.. Out in the open you are
spotted very quickly and long range fire will hurt you,
especially if they are throwing heat. I really should play this
more often, it consistently brings in 65 k per match on average.
the turret is somewhat flat, so peaking over hills with
american gun depression makes it difficult to pen. I believe
the canon is the top T29 Gun. Play on Northeast during high
server population and you will have some fun top tier most games

I'm with you Pete, I already have 5 premium VIII's and one of
those is the Lowe (nuff said :medal:). I'm saving my gold for
the T-34-88..........if they'll ever bring it back out!

I feel tempted, mostly because I just plain hate my current tier
8 American premium, the Super Pershing. No mobility, no pen, and
everybody knows how to penetrate its supposedly good armor.

Like the look of this to be honest. Ok so it doesn't have side
armour but still looks like a fun tank. Though if anyone knows
news of the T-34-88 due out soon , I'd have to hold out for
that.

I'm curious. What is it that makes the T-34 88 such an object of
desire? Is the short 88 really so much better than the top gun
of T-34-85? Better alpha damage, yes, but worse penetration. Or
am I missing something here?

The T-34-88 instead of being a silver machine, it produces extra
crew xp. Also you can train both Russian and German crews in it.
What we call in the U.K. 'Double Bubble '
