Update 2.6: Map Madness Approaches

It's been madness around here with our recent launch, so we
thought we'd share some of it with you! Update 2.6: "Map
Madness" is just that -- seven new maps from swamps to snowy
mountains will soon be available!
Take a look at 'em below, along with the rest of the features
coming in the new update.
New Frontiers
SERENE COAST
Don't be fooled by the name; this coast is anything but serene
when tanks are rolling out! Once a thriving coastal village
under a Gibraltar-esque promontory, Serene Coast is now a
battlefield under constant turmoil
FJORDS
Fjords encompasses a small thriving port town to the south, huge
mountains to the north, and narrow valleys between them. This
unique landscape was likely caused by shifting glaciers, but
recent battles have shaped it further.
While not a terribly large map, Fjords' key placement of
impassable mountains makes traversing the battlefield quite
lengthy. With that in mind, choose your attack route wisely at
the onset of battle, because attacks can come from where you
least expect it!
SACRED VALLEY & WAR! VARIANT
The feudal hilltop citadel at the center of the map once
provided excellent vantage points, and kept enemy armies at bay.
However, this contested battlefield never had tanks to worry
about -- until now!
Sacred Valley has frosty peaks, winding roads and plenty of
cover points including a rural village. Tanks with excellent gun
depression should make use of the ridge lines to poke, fire, and
disengage!
NORTHWEST
This battlefield is set on an isolated Canadian lumber mill
which has seen better days. Northwest features multiple levels
of terrain, plenty of vantage points and winding roads, making
way for corridor-like battles.
Though not the largest map, the mountains make for lengthy
traversal, so choose your strategy wisely from the get-go!
ARCTIC REGION - SNOW
This snow-covered map features numerous routes circling around
rocky mountains. There's plenty of cover to be found from large
rocks, hills and even bunkers! Be wary when venturing out, as
you don't know what's hiding behind the numerous vantage points
found throuhgout this battlefield.
SWAMP
Here's a shocker: Swamp has a swamp in the center of the map.
Joking aside, only brave tankers should dare to cross it. The
center can be an important control point for both teams, but the
map outskirts also cannot be overlooked.
Keep your eyes peeled for enemy movement in the center, but
don't get caught off guard from likely attacks from the flanks!
Premium Store Improvements
In an effort to improve Store navigation, we've separated a few
of its categories to make searching for items more accessible. A
new category, "Tanks," has been added and will feature all the
current Premium tank bundles that are available.
The "Specials" category has also received a new look, and will
contain any non-tank related bundles. The organization of the
Store has been adjusted to group together similar categories.
Please be sure to familiarize yourself with the new order prior
to making a purchase.

Playing this morning, things look great, however....when in game
and looking at your team and Opfor / map of location, all clan
tags are gone.

I'm not a conspiracy guy, and it's most likely a glitch (it's
not in the patch notes and didn't have that issue on the test
server) but ... well, I know some folks have complained about
how they are singled out due to clan tags. XGN is, as one can
imagine, a key target for hatemail, while guys in PG and other
"top" clans whine about how they are targeted by arty all the
time.
So I wonder if it was intentionally done on the sly.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go buy some more foil for my
hat ....

ROFL PG is whining about being singled out? Maybe a little
humility would go a long way for improve their rep. I know that
if I have a chance to pop someone who is a known elitist
douche-bag, I'll try and kill them. If they are non-douchebags
I'll kill them later if I haven't drowned myself, or got my-self
killed like last night. :drunkdance:
