don't get too cocky... I LOVE being on Himmelsdorf and seeing a
T-29 or T-32 or whatever in a "hull down" position or even
better, "Turret Down" in that alley way in front of the castle.
WIth the right tank and some careful aiming, you pop them in
their commanders hatch 3-6 times and many of them I have meet
just sit there and take it until they are killed.
       [/quote]
If I came across being cocky it was not intentional. I've been
blown up plenty of times in every tank I own including the
T29...;) But to be more clear I try to only expose the
turret, not turret down if i can help it.

LOL! It'll be a better brawler once I get the 105 on it. Only
need ... oh ... about 88,000 more XP. :sceptic: The 90 does
well, though, so can't really complain a whole lot ... yet.
But that's okay, as I don't mind doing the grinds: I've learned
that if I can play the tank well when it's weak, I'll do much
better at using it once upgraded.
Gonna spend breaks today watching sidescraping tutorials and
give 'em a shot this weekend.

I wasn't aware of the commanders hatch until I got shot in it
tonight and my platoons mates explained in answer to my WTF! how
do I die when they're shooting my turret statement. Now I know
       I'll get my wiggle on.
I got a first class mastery badge on Prok tonight in my base as
hell T29 so I'm pretty happy. Got it by getting 1600 spotting
 because my gun aint that good at going through anything.
Bought the new gun (90mm but with better pen and damage) but
haven't run it yet. Hoping to have a much better time.

Yeah, the 90 does a solid job against most tanks.
I might, however, need to load up a few premium rounds for tier
IX matches because ... oof that's painful. Unless you get a
side-shot or are lucky to nail a hatch or machine gun port, not
going to do a ton of damage (as I learned last night in our
first game out on Mines :arty: ).

I absolutely love the T29. I honestly have no equipment on it.
Sold it all to buy another tank a while back. This tank is a
tremendous silver maker for me. I need to get the rammer back
on. But i don't think i'll add any other equipment. always have
a first aid kit, fire extinguisher and repair kit.

Have the rammer, saving for vents (which are 600K). Will need to
choose between Toolbox or Spall liner to help with tracking and
       arty.
QUESTION: Anyone know if the toolbox, large repair kit, and
repair skill all stack? If so, I'd think the crew could repair a
busted track in mere seconds. That might be worth a shot (as
long as I don't use that large repair kit, as that'll hurt in
       the silver department).

I have no idea. For me... the problem is that I tend to get in
the face of the OPP. So the amount of time it takes to repair a
track (again, just my opinion and play style) is irrelevant. As
I tend to just get tracked, tracked, tracked, tracked, did i
mention tracked, and then tracked again. I've never (that i can
remember) had an issue with Gun Jammed, Turret Jammed, etc. It
       is literally always the tracking.
Where is the best spot to shoot a T29? Lower front, well if you
are turning, or wiggling your front end hoping for a bounce, you
get tracked. So the repair kit works best for me, to then hit
reverse in cruise control, gather up, load up, come back in.
I love to bully in that tank. Get close so they can't shoot the
lower front then damage away. They ain't penning that turret.

YES. And it's a beautiful thing. When I had my top crew in my
T29 I almost never burned a large kit (and at 20K each, it can
get painful in a bad game).
Unless I was against a TD with fast reloads, or multiple tanks
locked in on me I could repair the track before they could
       reload.
