style!

TKE, send me an invite anytime to roll T-29s!
:charge:
You will also find it is an excellent side-scrapper when the
ground you are on doesn't have a good hull down location - which
is also why (besides the glass tracks) I have all 3 repair
options loaded - crew, consumable and equipment. Keeping
yourself mobile has been one of the keys for me running the T-29

Side scraping is certainly something I need to learn how to do.
Have seen a few videos on it, but have yet to be able to apply
it in game.

I will gladly run my T29 with yours. Some of my best games have
been in that awesome tank. For the third equipment I recommend
Vertical Stabilizers.

I love the T-29 best tank in the game IMO. I run rammer, vents
and toolbox.

don't get too cocky... I LOVE being on Himmelsdorf and seeing a
T-29 or T-32 or whatever in a "hull down" position or even
better, "Turret Down" in that alley way in front of the castle.
WIth the right tank and some careful aiming, you pop them in
their commanders hatch 3-6 times and many of them I have meet
just sit there and take it until they are killed.

Towns are your perfect opportunity. Maps such as Himmelsdorf,
Westfield Assault, Widepark, Fisherman's Bay, etc will provide
much opportunity. Personally, I would suggest you spend far
more time getting the hang of side scrapping than studying maps
for hull down positions. While there are plenty, there is not
an over abundance of them on each map to cover required
opportunities to advance. Likewise, arty is MADE to tell you
to go pound sand when hull down, that's why it's in the game.
Oh, one more thing... another good hull down position on every
map: right in the enemies grill, preferably on the side away
from their gun.

Joe, not the alley in front of the castle, but the NE and NW
roads leading up to the castle. Pull up to the top of road and
you are basically in a hull down with the plateau and can see
across to opfor side. Works good, but yes, any tank that sits
and takes pings to the hatch without evasive moves is begging to
die :)
