WANTED: T-29 experts

So I finally got me a T-29 and wondering if there is a guide
anywhere that shows where good hull down positions are on each
map, much like Tazilon.net has for scouts. Would like to check
and see where those are at. (If there isn't, we should totes
make one!)
I'd also like to run a platoon of these bad boys so someone can
show me how to use this thing effectively, as I've only run one
heavy outside of tier V (the M6), but only for 20 or so games.
(I don't consider the VK36 a true heavy -- just a slower medium,
ala the Jumbo.)
NOTES:
- I have the 90 mm right off the bat thanks to the M6 (which
I'll probably sell now), but I don't yet have the troll turret.
- Added a rammer and saving for vents, but not sure what to
equip after that (GLD? Binos?)
- Crew has just one active perk as of now -- repairs -- and was
getting close to BIA. So I realize it'll suck a bit until the
crew gets trained and perked up and stuff.

TKE. This is my favorite tank......Close to 400 battles and
pretty killer stats with it. Lets roll :charge:

Um, yeah Oxi, so how the $#*# did you make it past the base
model without the frustration getting the better of you? I get
into Tier VIII matches everytime and tonight a Tier IX. I shot
10 rounds, 10 hits and Zero damage. Got 90XP and spent 6000
silver. You average 1400 damage per game - I'm averaging 297. 14
battles - 4 kills :palm:
I do more damage in my Tier II T-18!

It was a tough 30 or so matches.. I didn't have the option of
getting the 90 by itself at that time. I also cached in some
free XP when I couldn't stand it anymore. I was a sniper/
second level player stock and once I got the 90, played second
level. With the 105, I brawl!

Not sure I know all the hull down positions, but I tend to use
the rise and fall of the landscape in a lot of maps.
The only thing I think I have more 'Steel Wall' awards in is my
AT2, just because comparatively that had heavier armor for its
tier.
edit: Punctuation, it's not just for breakfast anymore.

Nothing like a wolfpack of T29s rolling in a tier 7 game. Good

T29 has a pretty high profile and can hull down behind many
burning tank hulks

My personal fav is the castle on Himmeldork. If you pull up on
the outer road you can essentially use it to hull down at the
top and wipe out the opfor as they top their side.

I've played 397 battles in my T29 and love it. Played about 5
games with the base 90mm then waited until I had enough to get
the top upgrade 105mm, its a game changer.
Try to set yourself up so that just the turret is exposed,
peaking over hills, rocks, tanks etc
Higher tiers will curse trying to pen a T29 turret... :thumb:
Oh and as a side note...I'm no expert on anything but I have
played the T29 a lot...;)

Great times in the T29 ... that's why it's the only Tier 7 i
own.
