I'm still up in the air about which tank to get. Which tier VI
heavy does the KV-5 play like?

a tier 6 ? hmm...thats not easy, if anything i guess a KV-2 with
much better armor and no derp. it does have a good gun .

It definitely moves like a kv2. Much better armour. Hide r2d2
and the tank is very tough.

I, like Digital, went to buy the Panther88 and instead bought
the KV5. Wow, loving it. Every game I have played in it so far,
I have been 1st or 2nd on leaderboard. I am proof that this tank
is idiot proof. Tough, decent speed for me, fast gun and makes
me more silver than the JTig88. Very glad I bought it.

I got both the Panther 88 and the KV-5 (yes, pay day was a
couple of days ago) and while I might learn to like and play the
Panther I absolutely love the KV-5. It's a bit like playing the
TOG but with more speed and better armor - but of course you
face tougher enemies. Like the ISU-152 who derped me for 1000
damage...
Especially in a city map the KV-5 is hilarious. Got the "Don't
scratch the paint" achievement in my second game, in the third
one I blocked over 4000 damage. And when in Himmelsdorf you just
climb the hill and... Take it away, brother D-Day.

Alright, I had to check this out. I gotta say, it plays a lot
better than my Panther II which appears to have the same gun and
be a little bit faster. The 8.8 has side skirt armor. I have had
some really nice games with the Panther 8.8. Much better than I
ever had with the II. As someone pointed out earlier, this 8.8
can really rack up the silver as well. I had several games with
over 100,000 silver which is not the norm for me with my
premiums. Thumbs up!

Have to say I'm totally stoked I bought the KV-5. That thing is
so much fun and makes killer money. Thanks to everyone that
talked me into it!! This is my 3rd Tier VIII premium and it sure
is nice just playing them back to back to back for a few hours.
Wish I could have gotten the Panther 88, but after the year of
premium and KV-5, I had to call it quits.
