Attitude!
DIR By: Phunk Pilot

It greatly saddens me to see some of the posts and responses we
are getting in threads on our forum. I have the utmost respect
for you all however, I feel that this is becoming a more common
issue. It's getting like the official forum for goodness sake!I
know some of you have specific issues with one another. Please
either hook up on Xbox live and talk it through or resolve them
however you see fit. Also I've noticed that some responses are
both rude and disrespectful to other posters. I find this
unacceptable. We have never had these issues in the past and I
think we need to deal with them now. I enjoy being in the clan
and playing with you all. I certainly don't think I am ever
rude or disrespectful to anyone either on the forum or in game.
I will however express my opinion in a reasonably direct way.
I'm sorry if my post annoys or upsets anyone but a lot of people
have worked hard to bring this all together. Let's get this
cleared away and move on.
Thanks
Bert

ADDING: I think we also need to remember that there are, what, a
few HUNDRED of us? All of us from different places, experiences,
etc., so some folks aren't going to get along.
AND THAT IS OKAY!
Seriously. It's totally fine if someone's play style doesn't
match another's, or even if two people (or more!) just don't
like each other. It's been happening ever since humans started
forming large social groups.
The keys are to:
A.) Accept that it's okay
ii.) Refrain from personal insults, either in game or here on
the forums
And, finally, remove one another from XBL friends' lists and be
courteous if you join a party they are in (e.g., just say "Hey
guys, just stopped in real quick. Gonna back out but wanted to
say 'Hey!'")
But your mileage may vary ...

Agree 100% phunk & tke919. The forum is not the place to air
greivances. Try and resolve issues as phunk & tke919 suggest. If
you can not, seek mediation from other members, preferably Boad
or Staff).

Or just blame me lol i dont care lol but also written word can
be misunderstood and taken the wrong way because one can not get
the sarcasim someone might but into a post.Talking does that you
get the emotion and feeling and one could possibly understand
better. Then again you have the ones that just really don't
care. Then there are the ones that were in the military and will
speak their mind and dont care who feelings they hurt. but i try
to appologize if i do hurt someone but they have to take the
time to listen to my side as well and me listening to their
side.

I understand that deadpool and I totally agree. We are all
adults here. If I can get my point across with out appearing
rude I'm pretty certain everyone else can too. I've worked in
mental health for almost 20 years I'm sure as heck not backward
in coming forward! As TK says we aren't always going to agree
with one another and that's fine. I just don't like to see the
bad feeling that seems to be developing here. It needs to stop
or be addressed. I joined the clan to tank with like minded
people and shall continue to do so. See you on the field.

Hey all! I just wanted to re-iterate what has already been said:
1. Yes, we ARE a diverse group of players, and we came together
from a desire to hang out with like-minded, mature folks without
the drama and toxicity of the WoT forums.
2. No, not everyone is going to get along with everyone
else...that is simply human nature...but dealing with that in a
mature way is what makes us strong as a group. If you have met
someone who's personality or play style is not a comfortable
fit, by all means, remove them from your xbl friends list, and
continue on with those you do enjoy playing or chilling with. No
offense will be taken by anyone, nor should it be as we are all
adults here, not little 10 year old brats screaming into our
kinects.
3. For differences or grievances, either real or perceived, that
anyone feels unable to resolve on their own, we have a standing
forum rule: Contact a member of the Board of Directors or other
staff member you feel comfortable with to discuss your concerns
in a confidential manner. If you are unsure who that may be,
please look here at the Key Member List and Your OFF Staff list:
wotoff.createaforum.com/new-member-briefing-and-staging-area/
HTML http://wotoff.createaforum.com/new-member-briefing-and-staging-area/.<br
/>We will work WITH you to resolve any and all issues or
concerns
that ANYONE may have; in an open, non-judgemental and respectful
manner. We are here FOR you, each of you, and we are here
because of each of you. Please, do not think that you are
imposing on us, or be shy to ask for help.
With regards to posts here in our forums: I would like to make
sure everyone is aware that beside each and every post there is
a "Report" button. If you find a post objectionable, or
disruptive in any way, and do not feel comfortable talking with
us about it directly, please use this function. It is completely
anonymous, and we assure you that any and all reported posts
will be looked into with 24 hours of being sent. I know it can
be difficult at times to be restrained, but I implore everyone
to try to use this first, before inflaming a thread out of
control.
I thank everyone for being part of this group, and have much
respect for all, as individuals. I ask only that everyone try to
respect everyone else's individuality, personal viewpoints, and
ideals. Do not attack one another...save that for the
OPFOR...they need a good butt-kicking, not your fellow mates.
Now, let's all

and get back to
doing what we love to do best: blow shit up!!
Peace,

I figure that I will weigh in here.....for better or worse.
Like several have said, with so many of us of differing
backgrounds/ personalities/ politics/ etc, there are bound to be
bumps in the road. We all don't have to be best buds, but we do
need to treat everyone with respect. We have a process for the
festivus tradition "the airing of greivences" and we should try
and work within the system. We also have a chat function where
we can create private chat rooms to help the process. By getting
into public sniping matches, it sets the wrong vibe. As we have
found with the way we can all pull together to help a fellow
clan-mate in need, this place can be a welcoming environment
that can help change lives. When I first came on with OFF, I
would never have guessed. Let's work the system, deal with our
problems, and move our community forward. I believe we all want
the same thing....to grow OFF as as group, have fun and kick
some red ass! We just have different ways of getting there.
Stepping down from soapbox...
