Lower expectations???? I literally sweat bullets when I see
you (or any other excellent light player) on the reds,
especially if I am arty... Great respect Fif!!! :salute:

Don't sweat bullets. Fire them... at me.
Arty is a strange class to play. I feel like you need to be on
the game chat more than any other class, just for your own self
preservation. Calling out where the openings are in the lines,
so you don't get jumped by some speedy light or medium. You are
like the punter in football, but there is no penalty for
roughing the kicker. but I'm going off topic...
I've got experience and good crews in a lot of the tanks on the
list. I will be happy to participate. Its just that the few
times I've participated in smaller competitive battles, I feel
like a fish out of water. I'm just used to running around and
adjusting my plan on the fly with out any communication or
cooperation from or with a "team".

with any sort of scout training. But my scouting experience is
based on 15v15 random battles and may not perfectly translate to
a 7v7 format.

no they are not , however they are still extremely close and all
carry over their basic function from the PC. as far as clan wars
go , i just dont see that much difference in the two to make any
changes in this lineup that has been used in ALL PC world
championships for years now.
it really is kind of amazing , once you get an entire team made
up of these selected tanks , as we proved in our little scrum ,
the power of these tanks shine through. the biggest mistake VSG
made was not using any of these tanks. for some reason they kept
trying to push tiger 2s and VK 45 A's out there and our IS-3s
and AMX 50-100s just ate them alive !
IMO...we stick with this PC lineup...if it aint
broke..............................

This is why I want to get as many friendly scrums in as we can
before Xbox Clan Wars comes about. The friendly scrums are still
pretty damn intense but the outcome has little meaning. This way
we will all have our feet wet with competitive play.

I hear you on feeling awkward in real platoons. After so much
solo play it's a challenge.

that is so true Oregon. and that is why ive been pushing so hard
to get some of these clan vs clan matches going. lone wolfing is
one thing ,and even platooning with random team mates is
another. but platooning in a competition , following a strict
game plan and trying to work together as a solid team takes a
lot of practice and time !
going into a clan wars environment not prepared is only asking
for tough losses and a lot of them ! at least until we get the
platoons meshed as a well oiled team . and this way , with the
scrums here and there , we can work a lot of those kinks out
before they really mean anything other than bragging rights .

Sorry Fif I have seen you in your machines, anyone that can blow
through tier X's in that Leopard deserves respect. Faethor is
exactly correct!
I would love to learn from you, set up a training time and count
me in!
We need Digital in this discussion also... Anyone else I am not
thinking of?
