yep our greenies helped us for sure
I fired a crap load of shells at two-ton while he was on the
beach but never got a piece of him.
Full disclosure: I didn't hit or get hit by any of TOG 3 in
       either game.
First game I was up front and somehow survived unscathed
Second game I hung back because I was terrified.
       Kudos to the real heroes:
       TofuTim
       Maddog
       Robertthered
and umm...geez who was that unknown soldier ?

TOG 3.0 [s]ran[/s] stumble into TOG 1.0 at South Coast. It was
after Rugged had [s]abandoned[/s] left us. We had four TOGs and
a T67 belonging to newbie "The Camping God". TOG 1.0 had 4
regulars and also one newbie in a light tank.
We went down the beach and TOG 1.0 appeared from the East. In
short 3.0's greenies evaporated and the TOGs got flanked from
behind by reds while being subjected to fire from 1.0 and from
the north of the map. Unfortunately, both sides of TOGs didn't
land much fire on each other and only one 3.0 TOG was actually
       destroyed by 1.0
Encountered 1.0 again in the very next map (Mali). All 3.0
greenies except 3 went for the hill as did 3.0. Hill greenies
got decimated and so did the 3 left behind at the spawn. 3.0 now
was caught in crossfire from the hill and from Robertthered
(plus reds) from the south in his M4!! His M4 landed the killing
shot on me. Again, not much TOG on TOG action and I don't think
any 3.0's were destroyed by 1.0 TOGS. (Could be wrong though).

weird night for me personally -- I was either in top three or
       bottom three all night
got my first two "high calibers" in a TOG last night and my w/r
definitely went up thanks to the company I kept :salute:

We should use some other external (non xbox live) mode to
       coordinate launches. Shout box perhaps?

3.0 is on early and as the other platoons form up they could
send me a message to let us know they are out and
about.....launching at the same time would be tough given we are
on two different platforms, but i am willing to try anything

Some corrections (I know, I'm a detail person :palm: )...
Anyway, the "newbie" was just a guest, not an OFFer (friend of
       Robert's, iirc), gt: RevinTroy
Decent guy, does like to talk lol, but a decent tanker, and
friendly. He joined us after tofutim left to get his beauty rest
(heard he slept until 4pm today with no change? :troll: ).
Robert did not drive his M4; that was EvilNonsense/Eddie tearing
them up all night in Tier V mediums or heavies with the
occasional TD thrown in for fun. He ended up with 2 Confederate
Medals :medal:, 'cuz he likes to spread it around
It was most useful having a platoon member with that level of
mobility to scout, draw fire, and harass the reds into exposing
themselves for the 17 pounders to decimate.
We did get a Crucial Contribution, but I can't recall what map
       that was.
During the battle on South Toast, I shot only 4 reds the entire
battle, doing around 1400 damage. All 4 were Red TOGs of 3.0
       :gunning:
Upon seeing the same platoon on Mali, we elected to swing to the
NE instead of trying for the hill (that's a hellofa long drive
in a TOG!), took out some stray reds along the way, and
basically flanked the remnants of the red team. Last red was on
the NW side of the hill; must of been Ken1 or Ken2, I can't
remember :old: . Just recall putting multiple shots into his
       flank :taunt:
Everyone had fun, which was the main objective, and many silvers
were stashed away for future use.
       Thank you to:
       EvilNonsense
       robertthred
       Gouda 44 (the Big Cheese)
       tofutim
       RevinTroy
for providing an evening of laughs and a good time! :celebrate:

Ok my bad. What I knew for certain that it was a M4 which killed
       me.
