it seems there is a lot of talk on the WoT forums that the guy
that does the "from the Chieftens Hatch" videos may have been
filimg this at the time !

I'm indeed alive and well, lads. The film crew was not related
to us, and neither was the live-fire shoot, which was being done
for a museum which wanted some steel plate shot at for an
exhibit. The ammunition was, as is common with WW2 vehicles,
reloaded. I have no information as to what actually caused the
incident, although there is some informed speculation.

ahhhh.....well glad to here hes ok !! hes had some really good
videos . yeah i figured it had something to do with the
"home-loaded" ammo. not too much of a supprise there.

Just a reminder that as we have fun and enjoy our freedom and
hobbies that people put their lives on the line around the world
with these machines. Sad day for these fine people and lets not
forget all the tankers and service folks out there on the real
front lines.
