       Apology to the Clan

I want to apologize to everyone for not fulfilling my duties as
a BoD member the past couple of months and I feel I owe you an
       explanation.
The end of July I lost my mother, who was also my best friend,
suddenly to a heart attack. I have been dealing with her loss as
well as family issues. Plus, my niece who was living with my
mother has moved in with us as well so there has been some
       adjustments there.
There have been days that I just looked at the screen and then
closed down my computer or turned off the Xbox.
I tried to take care of things that some of you have asked
regarding the Companion Site and all.. I didn't realize how
behind on things I was until I went to catch up on reading the
threads and posting the Birthdays. I found that I hadn't posted
the rest of the August birthdays or any of September's. I'm
sorry and have since posted those birthdays. Happy Belated
       Birthday Guys!
Things have started leveling off so I will be back to fulfilling
       my duties.
Again, I'm sorry for not keeping up with things and will work on
       getting things caught up.

I am sorry to hear about your mother Ice, you are a wonderful
person so she left behind a great legacy in you. Thank-you for
taking care of us and making sure our clan runs smoothly. You
were one of the first people I made contact with here and you
are always there to answer my questions.
I (we) appreciate all you do!
       TO ICE :superdrunk:
       :thankyou:

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your loss Ice. My
condolences... I for one don't think apologies are necessary.
       Family first...

No apologies required. What you had to deal with and the fact
that you stepped up and took care of the real-world business
that happens is a tribute to your character. We lost my wife's
mother in late July, but had the satisfaction of taking care of
a loved one who needed our help during her last days. The
emotional toll of such responsibility is immense and the
recovery period, if ever, long. Do what you can to take care of
       yourself. Be well.

Apologies ??? For what??? Last I saw being human and caring
required no apologies.... We lost my brother in law a month ago
to cancer (3 months from diagnosis to funeral) . Its a sad time
and hope you are out the tunnel now.

Ice, so sorry to hear about your loss. Hope memories of good
times with your mother help you grieve.
Grief is a long process - be kind to yourself.
Thanks for sharing this. We're virtual friends brought together
by a game but over time, we get to know and care about each
       other.
Best wishes for you and family through this tough time.

No need for apologies. Our clan is very tenured in life and many
