What happened to America?

I came across an interesting documentary style program by Kirk
Cameron on Netflix. It's named "Monumental: In Search of
America." The program has some interesting historical facts
ranging from the Pilgrims to Harvard Law School. It also
provides a brief insite to what is being taught in schools
regarding the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

1 thing wrong there.The host Kirk Cameron. Other than that it
all boils down to a loss of morals and values.Patriotism was
high after the war in the late 40s. Hence the baby-boomers. It
started into decline in the late 50s with Korean War. Then
progressed to Sonny Barger a drafted-
vet who started the 1%er M.C. Club the infamous Hells Angels in
58. Then in the early 60's. starting with assassination of
J.F.K. and the mid 60s with the Equal Rights Wars which lead to
the assassanation of DR. M.L.K. followed by the late 60s with
the Vietnam War a continuation of the Korean conflict and all
the protesters and demostrations, and the violence done to them
by our government (Kent State). The disrespect inflicted upon
the Drafted Vets.Who had to fight a war they were not allowed to
win. Who thinks the US did not have the means to have won that
War seriously? They did not even try. Then came the 70s with All
in the family OL Archie bunker. Once tv got into the moral decay
it was all over. So yeah loss of morals and wholesome family
values. Have led us to the doors of Anarchy where we reside
today.Long live the Right to bear arms. Protect your
constitution and VOTE. PROUD VET AND AVERAGE AMERICAN.

I'm not going to get into a political discussion here, but I
will openly state that Kirk Cameron is a blithering idiot.
That is all.
ADDING: A bit of fact checking of one of his "documentaries"
(which aren't anything of the sort; they are propaganda).

I think that was Sonny Barger not Badger that was a founding
member of Hells Angels but I'm not 100% sure on the spelling. I
read a really interesting book on him and the Hells Angels a few
years ago (right after I read a book about the cop who
infiltrated the Mongols M.C.).
regarding the documentary, I'll have to check that out. but I
will keep in mind the wise words of my father who used to always
tell me "don't believe anything you hear and only half of what
you see".

I agree with SGT. that a disregard for the people in favor of
profit, post WWII, resulted in a diminishing respect for
authority. Oh and you forgot Watergate. If you follow this link
