Square vs Round mini map

Was reading the debate over on the main forum and was wondering
if anyone in here uses the large map?

Personally, I have no problem with the mini map and have never
even tried out the other one, but don't want to miss out on a
tactical advantage if there is one.

how many times a match are you switching from your playscreen to
he big map using the pause button ? you should be using the
overall map a lot ,I think most new players use the small round
map , which is why I think a lot of them have such god-forsaken
situational awareness. keep in mind , when switching your no
longer seeing whats in front of you while you tank spins
helplessly forward !
I started using the big mini-map the day it was offered !

I use the round map, but frequently hit the pause button to
bring up the big map. Totally need it for situational
awareness, especially since there is such a prevalence of
lemmings and fail teams......

if your using the pause button a lot , you really should start
using the mini-full map. it takes some getting used to but saves
you from ever been paused and helpless .

Square minimap at all times. Took a few days to get used to it,
but now wouldn't even consider going back.

I hear you, but am so used to using it this way during the ebb
and flow of the game, no problems. typically hit pause, scan
for 1-2 secs and then hit pause again.

Took me some time to get used to the big map, but it makes a
HUGE difference, IMHO. No more wasting time bringing up the big
map, no more wondering if that red tank is next to me or on the
other side of the hill. etc. There are still times I get
confused as to what direction I need to go, but I blame alcohol
on that ...

Seriously -- try it for a week and you'll never go back.

I push the button and use the full screen map personally. A
whole lot. Let me rephrase this I use the full mini map. My
mistake I never pause the game and stop. Im looking as Im flying
across the map.The near view just gives proximity info. I
suggest going to MobiusY's or BR-Tactic's you-tube channel and
just watch one game play. that is proper map awareness and
usage.

Big map for me ...... and like others , pause and hit the really
big map more than a couple of times a match usially depending on
how things play out .
