STATS WN8/7 EFF

It has came to my attention reading this forum. That many people
want to improve their stats. At the risk of being called an
"Elitist" again, I can help. For starters a person wanting to
improve their stats, Is a person wanting to learn more about
this game. That makes you a better tanker and TEAM-mate. If your
not trying to learn and get better, Then you might be playing
the wrong game. If that is an Elitist then I'm guilty, As
charged. To me an elitest is someone full of shit, that talks to
less skilled players with contempt and hatred. So now about
improving your stats and mine. This is very simple to
accomplish. No I am not talking stat-padding in some bogus
underplayed tank. You can do that, but remember there is a reason
"Said" tank is underplayed. No you simply go to WOT service
records your acct. Look at the search bar on top with your name
is your player number. If you need help with this Leave a reply
here and I will get it for you. Go to WOTINFO.net and search
player enter your player number. Your overall stats will be
there. If you have never been there before. Save the page go
play WOT and come back. Now open page all your Overall Average
stats are here. To improve you must beat YOUR stats. Not the
number 1 player but your stats. It is not going to be hard . You
know how you play, Now you just got to beat your own averages.
Step 1 the easiest stat to beat. Look at your avg tier played.
If you never play below that tier you will always beat it. Step
2 Look at your avg damage you must always try to beat this
number. Should not be a problem in the next tier above your avg
tier played. Step 3 look at your detections. Try to always get 2
a game. If you cannot spot the enemy, Your to far away to pen
them anyways. Step 4 defense points easy go defend the flag on
encounter and assualt. Do not go into the circle, Just spot it
and fire into it.Try to hit a different vehicle everytime. Each
one collects cap points in the order they arrived.Hitting the
same tank over and over will not reset the cap or give you
defender points. Step 5 cap points when you see your team has it
wrapped up or your low on HP, And there is no enemy around go
sit on the cap. You do not have to cap to get cap points. You do
have to be in the circle when the round ends. Step 6 The hardest
one survive.Deal out your damage the best you can but when you
hit 25% HP. Drop back and let the team help. If you die your gun
is out of the battle and your no-longer contributing. A tank on
25% health still Hits like a tank on 100% health. So do your
team a favor drop back. Wait till the enemy shoots your friend,
Then pull back up and hit them. LOL Repeat as necessary. Step 7
kills really unimportant but try to beat your average. STEP 8
WINNING not required to improve your stats. But if you beat YOUR
averages, winning is inevitiable. Good Luck to you all. See you
on the field. Roll-Out

Thanks Chilli, I know the feeling my Super-Pershing has one of
my lowest win rates. But the 4500 damage games and the 4 or 5
spots a game make it one of my best performing tanks. Not
counting defense points on assault and encounter battles. Only
so much a medium can do. LOL Even those two. I Love that SP. It
is a wn8 stat-padder in the truest sense. It does it all but
win.

It's all true.
What I've also found is that specialising in a particular tank,
so you know it inside-out, really helps.
I've been concentrating on the Borsig (already a top performer)
and really making good use of it.
Over the past couple of months my stats have started to steadily
improve.
Look at the attached snaphot from today...
Last week purple, last month blue, overall yellow.
On the face of it I'm still average, but I know things are
getting better.
Look at things like the survival rate, win rate, damage etc.
They are all vastly improved and getting better.
The downside is that I tend to struggle in other tank types so
I'm not an all-rounder.
That's offset by my confidence in the Borsig though. That's my
go-to tank to cheer me up.
I lay mayself open to the charge of 'stat-padder'...I prefer
'specialist'

Think we have that tank or few we specialize in, e-25 is my new
darling but the 30.01d will always be my favorite tank in game,
e50m though not played much with is one that fits my style as
well I dont consider it padding if it's what you enjoy to play
especially when you are lone wolfing it as I do 99% of time due
to my screwy play hours

I can honestly say that playing solo, Is the easiest way to
improve your stats. Even though it is counter-intuitive being in
a clan. The lone-wolf does not share spots, damage or kills with
platoon mates. So the potential to beat your averages is a lot
easier. That is why super-unicum players that platoon together
strive alot harder to keep that wn8. They rely mostly on wins
and survival, Picking up what damage they can. Less deaths equal
higher percentages.

I'm really hoping a lot more members read this. Even old salts
might find something here. Basic knowledge but important stuff.

Excellent stuff SGT. Survival is the biggest stat for me.
Survive and they all fall in place. I also agree that it is a
little easier to keep up the WN8 lone wolfing. You have not
having to share the damage pool, but I also feel less inclined
to hold a whole side of the map if I am running solo, thereby
ensuring my rapid death. In platoons, of 3+ I am more ready to
face the tough odds if I have a couple of "wingmen."

advanced version. LOL Roll-out
