So when do we break off in to teams and get ready for this? I
think we should break off into teams then battle each team and
the team that wins battles TiTs! What do you all think?

sorry squiggy , but that is a horrible idea. we need a team of
our absolute BEST TEAM PLAYERS ! not the winner of our Saturday
Night Showdowns. We cannot take stuff like this lightly if we
want to be taken with any level of seriousness with other clans.
We hammered out some of the basics several months ago and this
is what we need to continue with. We just need to fill some
holes in and start working !!

Sorry may be missing something here but why do we have to be
"taken seriously" by other clans. As the good Aussie slang goes:
We're not playing for sheep stations here. I'd like it if we
could be inclusive and let anyone who can play (time lining up,
time permitting etc) play.
Maybe we field multiple teams? One's that can practice together
and put in the time commitment and one's that can just show up
on the day, or a mix of both.
There's lots of guys in OFF who aren't the best players in WOT
but will have a go. And I'm sure there's lots of players in the
other clan who aren't the best in WOT either. You won't know
what you'll get I'm sure.

I would have to agree with Panzer on this! Cause if that's the
case then half of us that signed up won't even be considered for
the team! From what I can tell there is no clan league yet so
why be so serious. Not that I'm saying half of us won't do are
best to beat these guys. I know I want to be part of the team
but if the only way in to the team is by stats then shit I'm no
good! I'm better with some tanks then others and that goes for
everyone. I mean if we are going to move forward and consider
our selfs as a competitive clan then we need to start being one.
Have more inner clan matches and pick roles that everyone is
good at. Not play grab ass 7 days a week then decide to be
competitive. No I'm not pissed off at anyone i am just speaking
my mind. This was not directed towards you Warstiener. This is
directed towards everyone. I have been in a competitive clan as
I'm sure a lot of you have but there was a lot more organization
towards competting then there is in this clan. Like Panzer said
maybe we need to have more then one team!?!? And if there is
more then one team I'm sure everyone would like to know who is
one the team/teams so we can all get together and practice. And
if I'm not on a team oh well so be it that just show I need to
practice more to make the team. I'm not going to cry and bitch
and blame people and then leave the clan.

TiT is a serious clan...they dont even call themselves a clan ,
they call them a TEAM !
if you dont want to be taken seriously then feel free to keep
playing socially....i know ill do that too , but clans like TiT
take things VERY serious !!! and if we dont , there is no reason
what so ever to even been in matches with them !!
Again...when it comes to matches , challenges , and clan war
type things ...WE NEED OUR BEST !!!!!
TiT is NOT a predominant social clan like we are...socials vs
hardcore will never be an even outcome.. EVER !!!
We need a dedicated , serious , hard-core squad or 2 , not
people that just want to join this for the fun of it. Im not
tying to piss anyone off , im just being honest. Why even get in
these events if winning is not priority #1 ????????
and fyi...yes , ive played in 2 of the largest competition
worlds in videogames possible...Call of Duty and World of
Warcraft. ive been there !

Wow!!! Great conversation going here; love it...everybody
making good points and I'll throw a couple more in...need a
Generalissimo- In-Charge...also, having an EU and NA lieutenants
that would be 2nd-In-Charge (we have very good tankers in our
clan that hail outside of North America)...whether that be a
Board position or not, that would be up to, The
Board...Commitment - what parameters do we set...What would be
tier viable tanks...I know if I have to buyback the M3 Lee I
might have a problem...

Social clan or hardcore competition clan? Herein lies the rub.
Can't have it both ways without ruffling a few feathers. I love
being in this clan and enjoy platooning with...well....everyone
and I would hate to see a great group get torn apart by
perceived slights or competitive egos but at the same time I
would love to see an OFF All Star team compete with other clans
and groups. Would I want to be a part of that? Absolutely but
there are many OFFers better than me and I want the best team
that OFF can field to go kick ass and do us all proud. I would
be just as happy to be on a practice team to run against the
super team and give them some practice and make myself better at
the same time...win/win.
I know this is getting dangerously close to TL:DR territory so
I will summarize:
Phase 1- Make super team
Phase 2- Get everyone involved in some role that wants to
participate
Phase 3- Profit
See? Simple

War first off you didn't piss me off and I don't think you
pissed off anyone else. That being said you gave some good
information about TiTs. For one I didn't know they where a
serious competitive clan aka team. Thank you for telling me
this. I thought they where just another clan wanting to have
some friendly scrims. And yes I do want us to be taken seriously
and do well in clan wars when they come out. And War I am like
Gunmetal I would be just as happy on the practice squad as I
would be on the main team. How else's am I to be come a better
player and hopefully make the main team. Yes I know I'm not take
seriously most of the time as well I shouldn't be this is my
free time. But I do take competitive play seriously. Most nights
I play for fun and games to shoot the shit with fellow OFFers
but if there is ever a time for us to be serious then so be it
lets be serious. My first post was basically asking in a non
serious way how are we going to make the team with so many
people willing to play. And if I don't make the team that's fine
like I said I'm just as happy to help the team. So I hope I
didn't offend anyone in my second post as I was just saying what
was on my mind.
